Bush Pushed Too Far
Up to now, George Bush (the younger) stayed with the usual thing to
which most presidents adhere, not to criticize his successor. But
Obama must have “pushed him too far and, “In a closed-door
meeting with Jewish Donors Saturday night, former President George W.
Bush delivered his harshest public criticisms to date against his
successor on foreign policy, saying that President Barack Obama is
being naïve about Iran and the pending nuclear deal and losing the
war against the Islamic State.” Which is the nicest possible way to
say that Obama is “giving away the store.” If I were in Bush's
position, I would have spoken up loudly long before now. Bush doesn't
want to get back into politics, but he says he just could NOT keep
quiet while Obama ruins us. (Sweetness and Light)
