Absolutely Imbecilic

Talk about “surrendering” to the criminals! This outfit wants to ultimately DISARM the cops in New York City. How STUPID is that? “According to the website “Waging Nonviolence,” the activists plan to team up with local activists and police watchdogs to pressure the NYPD to pull officers “from over-policed neighborhoods and then maintain these cop-free zones with alternative, community-based forms of conflict resolution.” They ignore the fact that “over-policed neighborhoods” are “over-policed” for a REASON. They are areas with high crime numbers and ARMED police are NECESSARY in those neighborhoods. Do they really think the CRIMINALS will disarm themselves just because the cops do? What will happen is that a lot of COPS will die from their stupidity. And so will a lot of citizens as the criminals “run wild.” If I were a NYC cop and the city disarmed me, I would no longer BE a NYC cop, in the next MINUTE. I wouldn't even ATTEMPT to enforce the law without the ability to defend myself against ARMED criminals. I predict it will never happen. The cops aren't that STUPID and would resist it with all their being. (Personal Liberty)
