Let honest people carry guns and crime goes down. This has been proven over and over, yet the gullible politicians still refuse to believe it. Apparently, they're “stuck on stupid.” Chicago is one of the worst places to live anywhere, because they have some of the tightest gun laws anywhere. Recently, a judge forced them to allow more people to carry guns and they did. And crime went down 20%. Surprise, surprise! In the first quarter of this year, homicides are down 56%. Whoda thunkit? "It isn't any coincidence crime rates started to go down when concealed carry was permitted. “Just the idea that the criminals don't know who's armed and who isn't has a deterrence effect," said Richard Pearson, executive director of the Illinois State Rifle Association. "The police department hasn't changed a single tactic — they haven't announced a shift in policy or of course — and yet you have these incredible numbers." And yet the politicians still insist on making their USELESS “gun laws” that do nothing but make the crime state WORSE. (WashingtonTimes)
