Censorship Okay today

I’ve noticed a trend in America. Censorship on anything that is against liberal ideas. I see it all over the country. In one place they want to spend a lot of money to paint over a mural featuring this country’s first president, George Washington, because he once owned a few slaves. Of course, they ignore the fact that George Washington was instrumental in eliminating slavery in this country and he only held a few slaves because at the time it was the thing people had to do to make ends meet. But that makes no difference to liberals. They want to take down numerous statues (like they did in Iraq) of civil war heroes because they don’t agree with their politics. They want to rename places that have been named for years because the subject might have has a “spotty past.” Now they have engineered the removal of a billboard slamming “The Squad” and suggesting their removal. Of course, that didn’t stand to well with liberals, so the “censorship machine” immediately went into action and pressure was applied to the billboard company, which has ordered it removed, even though it has been paid for. Of course, it was paid for by a gun shop, so they called it “disgusting anti-government rhetoric” and “dangerous and violent,” even though all it did was say “The Squad” were idiots, which they are. They even injected their favorite epithet, racism, by describing them as “women of color.” As if that made a difference in them being fools. If we allow this kind of censorship to continue, we’re in “deep doo-doo.” (Huffington Post)
