"An Embarrassment of Riches"

When it comes to evidence against Jussie Smollett, according to the Chicago cops. Smollett is going down. Whether or not he spends some time in prison is still in question, but it is evident that his acting career is over—unless some stupid producer thinks he is a good fit somewhere because of his notoriety. There is one thing he has gained, if that’s any consolation to him. More people (including me, who had never even heard of him, much less knew how to spell his name) now know how to spell his name, and his name is a “household word” all over the country, and even the world, whatever THAT’S worth. We thought Colin Kopernick had lost a bunch when he refused to stand for the National Anthem, but he hasn’t. His team actually offered him a lucrative contract AFTER he started that ignominious trend, but he turned it down. He kept his very lucrative Nike contract, and they even increased it with their “Just Do It” ad campaign. He got a book contract, and many other benefits. And HIS name has become a “household word,” world wide. Which just shows the ignorance of many Americans, mostly liberals. (Just common sense)
