"Chilling" the Cops

Because an out-of-control cop murdered George Floyd by kneeling on his neck for almost nine minutes (a completely wrong method of controlling a suspect who was not fighting). They now want to punish ALL COPS for the damned fool actions of one cop and a few “newbies” he was “training.” In doing so, they are condemning many people, maybe even including themselves, to death at the hands of the illegally armed criminals and other kinds of law breakers because the cops will no longer be there to keep tings under control. The real fact is that 99% of cops are “good people” who are only doing a thankless job, and doing it well. Then there are the kind of cops that killed George Floyd, which we could eliminate if the politicians would just do their jobs competently. Disbanding the cops is “throwing out the baby with the bath water.” It is an overreaction, and will not only NOT solve any problems, it will CREATE some deadly ones. And even if they don’t disband the cops, if the public second guesses every time a cop has to make that split second decision to shoot or not to shoot in a stressful situation, it will make some cops hesitate too long and they will get killed. (Just common sense)
