Don't Blame the Cops!

There’s an article out about “Why People Kill Cops” that is totally wrong. It says people are responding to such things as the cops destroying someone’s house while apprehending a criminal, and not paying for it. So because of that, people go out and kill cops in retaliation, who just do the best they can to apprehend the criminals. It is not the cops who refuse to pay for the damages, it is the politicians who RUN the cops that don’t bother to buy insurance to cover such predictable damage, and then refuse to accept responsibility for the damage caused by the cops in their efforts to do their jobs. In no way should that be a “death sentence” for cops, who are just doing their jobs. You shouldn’t kill people because of some property damage, no matter how devastating to the property owner. Politicians should wake up and get insurance to pay for such damages, and that would eliminate the problem. But no, they’re only worried about the “bottom line,” and that kind of insurance is expensive. But they should pay it, to avoid causing devastating loss for innocent people, rather than just refuse responsibility. Politicians are good at avoiding responsibility for their errors. (Breitbart)
