The reason it has gotten worse is that keeping you from knowing about all his failings is much more difficult than it was before and it keeps them exhausted trying. There are so many scandals brewing that they have to work HARD to cover them up, it’s “taking a toll” on them and they’re making mistakes that reveal important information they’d like us to be unaware of.
