"Journalism Award" for a Dictator

He “cracked down” on the media in his country, closing some down and “disappearing” some of the people employed there for publishing stories he didn't like. But the University of La Plata is giving him its Rodolfo Walsh Prize. What has he done to deserve it? He funded a state-owned and controlled network to “compete” with privately funded, free enterprise news organizations. Kinda like Fox, only this one DOES lie to the nation. This is how liberals everywhere “pad” their “resumes” by getting awards from other liberal organizations. Notice conservatives get a lot fewer such honors. It's His Fervent Wish

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough says that without Fox Glenn Beck will fade to irrelevancy within a year. This from a man who IS an irrelevancy NOW. Scarborough doesn’t have anything NEAR the number of viewers that Beck has on Fox, nor the number of people who read his two main web sites on a regular basis. It is Scarborough’s “fervent wish” that Beck will “fade into obscurity” in the next year, but it ain’t agonna happen. He’s too well known, and he is NOT “leaving Fox. He’s merely changing his association with them. It’s like saying John Stossel is “obscure.” Both are too good at “ferreting out” the facts and presenting them in a believable way. That’s why Scarborough hates Glenn. I don’t know what he thinks about Stossel. (The Blaze)

The State of Today's "Art"

THE STATE OF TODAY’S ART: I’m an artist. I do photo-realistic art in colored pencils (after 45 years of doing the same thing on 40 ft. billboards in oil paints). I look around me and see what is CALLED "art" today and I want to cry. To me, art is something composed with some TALENT. One time I saw a guy back a jet up to a large canvas and start the engine while he threw gallons of different colored paints into the jetstream. Then he cut it into one foot squares and sold each for $5,000.00. One time I took an old paint pallet I had used for years (it was a piece of clear plastic), turned it upside down and framed it. Then I entered it in an “art show” and won best of show. I did it just to prove a point. That’s the level of talent in most art today. People like me are called “dinosaurs.” They say if they had wanted a photograph they’d have bought a camera. This is how they con people into buying their "art." The only kind of "art" in this is the "con-art." in convincing people what they do IS real art.

One time NASCAR wanted a cover for the next year’s program at an auto race won the last year by a first year rookie by three inches over two former national champions. They only had a grainy black& white photo of this, which was at the time, the closest finish in the history of NASCAR, and won by a rookie. They needed color. So I used the photo for car positioning and did a colored pencil rendering of it. I even had to call them to learn the color of the lettering on the wall behind the cars (This was before TV covered every NASCAR race). Another time I did pictures of 12 super markets, where photos wouldn't do. I removed power lines, newspaper boxes, fireplugs, parked cars, etc. Something you couldn't do with a camera then. This was what I specialized in: creating photos where none existed, or while removing nonessentials. That takes talent. Most of today’s “art” doesn’t. NYC Bans Fried Food

No, not for everybody, but “That's the new edict for employees of the same city Health Department that brought you calorie-counting menus and snuffed out smoking on beaches and in parks.” Frankly, I’d tell them to “stuff it.” I eat what I want, not what some jerk bureaucrat says I can. What the hell gives these idiots the idea they have the power to dictate what people can eat, even if they DO give them a paycheck? If the company I work for part time EVER tried that, I’d be gone before the smoke could clear. Somebody needs to “rein in" Mayor Bloomberg. He obviously has a “dictator complex.” (NY Daily News)

Professional Freeloaders

I’ve always wondered when I see those dirty-looking, stinky people standing with their hand-printed signs by the side of the road, begging. I’ve always thought about following some of them when they get ready to leave, and see just what’s true about them. John Stossel, of Fox News did that in at least one case he told about in his Fox News special. There was a pretty young woman standing with a sign telling about being “stranded” after coming here to live with a boyfriend, who left her broke and homeless. She made $50 an hour with this scam, then walked a couple of blocks to a home where she appeared to live alone. Watching her house provided him with a picture of a woman who went shopping in the mornings wearing expensive-looking clothes, then put on her old clothes and walked the two blocks to her “station” where she assumed the “homeless” scam again. In one case, he made himself up as a homeless person and collected enough money that, if he had continued for eight hours, he would have made $90 a day, easily, while sitting down with a sign on his lap.

This is what we have come to in a country where liberals (yes, liberals) have taught us all our lives that “the world owes us a living.” Demonstrators many times say “Nobody should actually work for a living.” Somebody, somewhere, will give them what they want with no work on their part. But there’s a flaw in their thinking: somebody, somewhere, must WORK and EARN money before there is anything for them to give them. Thank God for those who DO work for a living, and find it easy to give part of what they EARN to those who will not work. Liberals (yes, liberals) in the government are the biggest enablers for such people, spending BILLIONS of dollars of “other people’s money (OPM) dollars to make life easier for these people. I’ve never understood the mentality of those who wish to live at the expense of others and think that’s right. I’ve never done it, and I’ve never given money to those who encourage it. Supporter or Opposer?

The cops say they don’t know if the guy who was attacked in San Fran was for or against Obama. Can they not READ? There were many signs on the booth he set up, and the one we notice most is the picture of Obama with a Hitler’s moustache. But they can’t figure out if he is FOR or AGAINST Obama. What a LOAD of stinky brown stuff THAT is! The press (who can’t tell either) ran the story as if he was FOR Obama because that supported their LIES that conservatives are violent. Unfortunately, like MOST of what they tell us, it’s not true. The only group that has a PROVEN violent nature is the LEFT. The only things they can point to is . . . wait a minute . . . NOTHING. But they continue to make the bombastic statements like (The Screamer) Howard Dean recently made that conservatives and Tea Party people bomb buildings and hurt people. But he can’t prove it. Why else would Obama APOLOGIZE for his “bad remarks” in the past about communists? Maybe because he is IN FAVOR of communists and communism? Believe it, folks! We have elected the son of communists who was brought up as a communist to be PRESIDENT. A man who promotes everything communist and socialist (basically the same thing) at every turn. Will he turn this country into a communist or socialist country? I’m sure that is his aim. But don’t listen to what I say; watch what he DOES. That should convince you if you’re paying attention. That’s what happens when anti-Israel people condemn Israel for RETALIATING against the “Palestinians” for their indiscriminate rocket attacks on Israel. They ignore those and accuse Israel of “holocaust” for defending itself. It pains me that even CATHOLICS have joined the anti-Israel bigots in condemning Israel for defending itself. Liberal News Is Dying

Meanwhile, News Max, World Net Daily, Fox News, and other news organizations that tell both sides thrive. Liberals just can’t understand why that is. They have their blinders firmly in place. They don’t understand that you can only lie to the pubic for so long and they will begin to “vote with their feet” and go to places they can depend upon to give them the truth. Places like those mentioned above and others, such as Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and the like. Newspapers all over the country are failing. Just in Denver where I live, the Rocky Mountain News, which has been around forever, folded, with another local paper, the liberal Denver Post, picking up where they left off. Now the POST is crying poverty and is cutting back. I stopped buying it when they raised the price at the same time they cut the size of the paper in half. All I bought it for was the comics anyway, and I can get those on the Internet at little cost. Other forms of liberal news organizations are shriveling, too, for the same reason. "Birther" Issue to Stay Around

Donald “The Hair” Trump is now working for Fox News, and, even though Obama tried to make those who insist on seeing his REAL birth certificate seem like idiots, the “birther” issue is unlikely to go away; nor should it. If Obama is not an American citizen, he has no business being president. He should have been required to produce proof of his American birth before he was even allowed to file to run for president. Somebody screwed up royally when he wasn’t. That screwup may create the biggest constitutional question that has ever happened in the United States if Obama is required to leave office because he is not legally entitled to BE president, and all that he has done becomes moot and nonexistent. Will the “powers that be” ever allow that? It might be out of their hands if one of the most powerful businessmen in the country prevails. I don't know if he is a citizen or not. But the fact he REFUSES to show it is, to me, telling. If he HAS one, he should show it and set this issue to rest. Why doesn't he? Hmmmm? (L. A. Times)

Bombay to Mumbai

What do they do it? A name becomes a recognized thing after years of use. Then the “powers that be” change it and we have to learn the new name all over again and things just aren’t quite the same. INS (Immigration and Naturalization Service) is now ICE (I don’t know what that stands for) but is still responsible for stopping illegal immigration—a job is seems not to know how to do. It sure “went out and did it” when it came to going after a six-year-old boy and sending him back to that Island prison in Cuba. This seems to be happening all over, both with government agencies and private companies.

I wonder what advantage there is to, especially private companies to change a well-known name to something nobody recognizes. I used to work for a security company called “Pinkerton.” A name that has been well known for a hundred or more years. It was bought by a Swedish company whose name is well known in SWEDEN, but not here. So they changed it to “Securitas” and spent all the money required to change all the uniforms, badges, signs, paperwork, etc., only to have a name that people thought was a Spanish name. I don’t get it. (Just common sense)

Media Matters Lies Again

They said Glenn Beck had dropped below 400 stations, which is patently a lie since he lost 7 and gained 88. But don’t expect a correction and an apology from Media Matters. Responsible news sources LEAD with their mistakes. Irresponsible ones do not. What they don’t tell you is that even with only 400 stations and slightly less, his is the third most listened to talk radio show in the nation. Neither do they tell you that this is normal for ANY show to lose some and gain others. This is the kind of “news” we’re subjected to in the liberal media, which predictably played this “report” from Media Matters up. Don’t expect any corrections or apologies from them, either. Profiting From Stupidity

Some people will pay big money to see just about ANYTHING. They’ve proven that by actually paying up to $700 a seat to go to Charlie Sheen’s “Crazy Show” (He doesn’t call it that, of course). He still thinks his idiotic ravings are of value to people, and there is a segment of society who are ignorant enough to believe him. For them, maybe he’s right. Frankly, I wouldn’t pay $700 a seat to go to ANYTHING. I’m not that ignorant. I hope, for his sake, Sheen makes a LOT of money from this, because it’s a lot less than he was making at the job he scorned, ridiculed, and destroyed, while causing a lot of good people to lose their jobs. Why he absolutely REFUSES to do this simple thing and put this whole constitutional question to rest tells me there is more to the question than he wants us to know. “On Saturday, McClatchy reported that Khalifa Hifter, a former Gaddafi military officer, was appointed to lead the rebel army supported by the United Nations, the United States and the Globalist Coalition.” What does this tell you about Obama’s purposes in helping the Libyan rebels topple Khaddaffi? It tells me he wants whoever the rebels are (maybe Islamic terrorists) to win, no matter what that does to American interests. Donald Trump calls him a “weak president,” but I don’t believe it. I believe he is doing everything he can to help the Islamic terrorists (not necessarily the Muslims) take over as much of the world as they can. That's what Egypt rebels said when Sec. of State Hillary Clinton went there to “offer our help” AFTER they did away with Mubarak without our help. They don’t much like females in responsible positions, anyway, in Muslim countries. I don’t know what Obama was thinking of when he appointed her, knowing that. Did he just want to shove a female diplomat in their faces, or what? I know, I know, he “owed her.” But couldn’t he have made her an ambassador to a non-Muslim country so Muslims wouldn’t have to deal with her? I guess Obama is really BLIND to such things. (ABC News)

Killing the Golden Goose

For years, collectivists (socialists, communists, Fascists, “progressives”), whatever name they use, have been trying their best to “kill the golden goose” in this country. There is one thing that is responsible for this country far bypassing economically, civilizations that have been around for thousands of years, in little over 200 years of our existence. That is the free market. They derisively call it “capitalism.” It is the “earning” factor. Somebody has to EARN the money before the collectivists can steal it and “redistribute the wealth” to those who did NOT earn it. They’re in the process of destroying the very system that is CREATING the wealth they want to “redistribute” (steal). When you run out of people who EARN the money, and from whom you can steal part of it, your entire system collapses. They’re getting to that point today.

The incompetent liberals (collectivists) who have been in charge most of the last 100 years have almost succeeded in destroying the economy of this nation (and thus the world), We’re at a point when we no longer have any money to spend. We’re “printing money” with nothing valuable backing it up as fast as we can, when each dollar bill we print makes all those now in circulation worth a little less. They’re taxing us into oblivion. They spend all their time figuring out new and better ways to tax us as many times on the same dollars as possible. We need to GET RID OF these people, and never, EVER allow another collectivist to be elected to ANY powerful position where he/she can have an effect on the economy. Obama and his henchmen should be the FIRST to go. And we should be willing to do our homework to figure out who IS the collectivist in the election.

I thank Obama for waking up as many people as he has, by his egregious actions, moving us ever closer to collectivism, as fast as he has. People who NEVER paid attention to politics are now planning to vote so they can get him out of office as quickly as possible. “As goes California, so goes the nation.” I remember hearing that proudly said many times during the years I lived there. Now it is a “death knell” for California and the nation. California, which used to be one of the most prosperous states in the nation, is “going broke” rapidly, with incompetent politicians (mostly liberal collectivists) reaping the harvest of money stolen in taxes over the years. I LOVE California, but I would not live there today because it is going to hell faster than the rest of the nation. Taxing Rich Doesn't Work

It destroys INCENTIVE to make money. Money on which the taxes they assess are based. There just aren’t enough of them to get anywhere near the amount of money the government needs to fund their “give-away programs” designed to buy the votes of those who don’t want to work to earn their own way, but who will vote for anybody who gives them money. When are they going to learn this simple fact? U. S. Supplies Guns to Mexican Drug Cartels

NRA perennial vice president Wayne LaPierre called Glenn Beck to reveal a shocking and unbelievable story: the United states government provided illegal guns to Mexican drug cartels. But he did not make it clear, as I did last week, that it was done to discredit America by providing proof that most of the guns used there came from US sources. I don’t know if Glenn understands it yet, but this is the kind of thing Obama would do. Provide guns to murderers to prove a lying point he has been trying to prove. (Glenn Beck)

Lowering Standards

In Dayton, Ohio, they’re lowering their standards for new police officers because the feds are requiring it. I’m going to stay out of Dayton. I don’t want to run into one of those less intelligent, less able cops. They’re doing this because “not enough minorities are passing the tests.” What the hell difference does THAT make? If not enough blacks and Hispanics and other nationalities don’t make it, THEY need to learn how to do better. The police department doesn’t need to make it EASIER for them. This is a good illustration of the effects of trying to “level the field.” Stupidity. This is the kind of putrid sludge we can expect with liberals in total command in Washington. Anti-Gun Freaks

Someone asks if you would like to be in a store where everyone has a gun. My answer is “yes.” If I’m in a store where only one person has a gun, everybody could easily be killed by that one person with a gun. With ten people armed, if that one person starts shooting at people, he can be stopped before he CAN kill everybody in the store. That was amply illustrated last year when a man came into a Colorado church and started shooting people. He ran into a woman who had her own gun and she shot him. Then he committed suicide and was only able to kill two people at this church. He had already killed several people at another church, earlier. A church where nobody else had a gun. "A Trivial Amount of Money"

New York Times writer Michael Shear says the Republican move to defund NPR is a “distraction over a trivial amount of money.” Apparently Shear isn’t intelligent enough to realize it’s not the AMOUNT of money, it’s the PRINCIPLE represented by the government subsidizing (not advertising with) a news organization that has proven itself to be unalterably biased in favor of that government. Where does NYT find these dolts? Is being a FOOL a requirement for working at NYT? One would think so, considering the product they turn out. Obama Refurbishing Mosques

Using taxpayer dollars while we go further into debt! We have no money but he's spending it on Muslim mosques! Picture the response if he was refurbishing CHRISTIAN churches! Muslims are “laughing all the way to the bank.” Some people say Obama is a Muslim. I don’t think that matters. He is clearly a Muslim SUPPORTER. He does everything he can to quietly make life easier for Muslims while some Muslims are killing our people wantonly. Is this a competent president? Not even! That’s what a Democrat lawmaker wants to do. Apparently he isn’t smart enough to see the difference between NPR and fox News. Fox News pays its own way; completely. It doesn’t depend upon government largesse in any way. And it pays TAXES to the government. It is a BUSINESS. You CAN’T “defund” it legally, in ANY way. Apparently Rep. Jim McGovern (D-Mass, where else?) isn’t intelligent enough to realize that. He equates advertising dollars with giving money to NPR to spread liberal lies. So Okay. Stop advertising with Fox. Obama's Complete Idiocy

There is one person MOST responsible for the high fuel prices, and that is OBAMA. Yet he blames “lazy oil companies” for it. He says they just will not go after oil deposits, even though he has begun to reverse his moratorium on oil drilling in the United States. What he doesn’t say is that while he has “rescinded” the moratorium, he has yet to issue any drilling permits; and without them, oil companies cannot drill. They’re not “lazy.” They’re STOPPED by Obama’s “laziness” in issuing drilling permits. Drilling for oil is what oil companies DO. If they can’t do it, they lose money. The thought that they are “too lazy” to drill is imbecilic. But that’s our president. (Investor’s Business Daily)

Fukushima Nuclear Designer Quiit in Protest

When his objections to the design flaws in the reactor being installed in Japan were ignored. “Thirty-five years ago, Dale G. Bridenbaugh and two of his colleagues at General Electric resigned from their jobs after becoming increasingly convinced that the nuclear reactor design they were reviewing -- the Mark 1 -- was so flawed it could lead to a devastating accident.” Guess what—it DID! "Guns Walking"

They called it a “sting” to find out where the guns would go. But what it amounts to is that ATF was SUPPLYING guns and ammo to Mexican drug cartels. Agents were against it, but were ORDERED to “stand by and let it happen.” I wonder how many people, both in Mexico and the United States, are dead because of this policy. At least one Border Patrol agent has been killed by a gun traceable to this "program." Yes, intelligence is needed. But we don’t have to SUPPLY guns for Mexican drug cartels in order to learn it. Now an ATF agent is risking his job and maybe his life by “opening this can of worms.” Do you expect anything substantive to be done about it? I doubt it. They will “convene” panel after panel, none of which will come up with anything, nor punish anybody. But they will be able to point to them and say, “We’re doing something.” Meanwhile this agent, if he manages to keep his job, will be shipped to Nome, Alaska or maybe further away. A British health care official says “some babies should be left to die.” A prominent British health care official associated with the country’s socialized medicine agency NHS is set to make a disturbing admission in an upcoming documentary: she thinks premature babies born at 23 weeks gestation should be left to die. Why? Cost concerns.” COST CONCERNS! What cost concerns is worth a human life? This is what it will come to in our country if we allow the government to take over the health care business. They will figure that since they are paying for it, they will have the right to KILL people to avoid spending too much money. Of course, whose money IS it? Ours; taxpayers. Not theirs. Patriot Raided by Obama Government

It must be against the law to oppose Obama’s policies while owning a legal shotgun. A patriot (Walter Reddy, of the “Committee of Safety,” whose only interest is the government obeying the Constitution) was raided by SWAT recently. They refused to produce a search warrant. they said there was one but they didn't have it with them. I don't believe there IS one. There were 20 ninja-style dressed cops with automatic weapons and held their guns to his head, bemoaning the fact that “there would be no action here today.” They were expecting a gun battle and were very disappointed that they would not get to kill a patriotic American citizen. The whole thing was prompted by a false “report” by a man who hates the whole idea the “Committee of Safety” stands for.

They thoroughly searched his house for 20 hours while the man stood in handcuffs. They “confiscated” some of his personal property (a legally-owned shotgun). They said he was a “person of interest in domestic terrorism.” I guess wanting the Constitution to be observed while owning a legal shotgun is now a crime. They violated MANY of his constitutional rights. No charges were filed and some legally owned guns were taken. It was said that owning that shotgun was a “threat.” It’s beginning, folks. Blaming the Victim

Ground Zero Imam says King hearing and Danish cartoons cause Islamic terrorism like Ft. Hood. How STUPID is that? Somebody needs to go back and find out what started FIRST, the Islamic terrorism or the Danish cartoons. Islamic terrorism has been going on for thousands of years and the only reason it stopped for a while is lack of money. Now the Middle East is supported by the oil money they make from the oil WE found for them, they’re “awash in money” and are much more able to do their “dirty deeds.” The ”Crusades” was a RESPONSE to the Islamic violence against Christians of the day, no matter how the Muslims try and turn it around and blame the Christians. Complete LACK of Leadership

Everybody is looking to Obama for leadership in several areas where it is the president’s responsibility to lead. But he is not leading. Libyan rebels are BEGGING for our help to depose a ruthless murdering dictator at a time when he is not as strong as usual. Japan is literally “burning” and is in danger of a nuclear meltdown. There are many other crises in the world he ignores, while he plays golf, basketball, and writes his NCAA “brackets.” He seems to be completely disinterested in the duties of the presidency, while he is TOTALLY interested in increasing his and his Democrat friends’ power while moving us ever closer to socialism, a “failed system” that has never worked, except for as long as other, still “in business” socialist nations prop them up. He will NOT give Congress a viable budget on which they can vote, being content to allow Congress to pass one “continuing resolution” after the other, keeping the entire government “on pins and needles” wondering whether or not their operations will be funded this year. Or he has sold out. He tells a newsman the chances of his avoiding inflation are 100% while the newsman’s jaw hits the ground. Of course, that newsman didn’t correct him, because, after all, who is the top economist in the nation, Bernanke or that newsman? Or maybe it’s because that newsman is a dedicated Obama supporter who doesn’t DARE correct him? Bernanke has obviously got his nose so far up Obama’s rear end that he will say ANYTHING to create the ILLUSION there is no inflation. Meanwhile, inflation rages, and prices keep going up, and up. Is the "American Dream" Dead?

Suze Orman wrote a book by that name, and she’s right to ask as long as we have that idiot in the White House. Everything he does, it seems, is DESIGNED to make this economy worse so he can impose SOCIALIST measures on us while falsely blaming the free market and what they call capitalism for every problem HE created. Until we get rid of dedicated socialist Obama and all he has done, it well MAY be. The Democrats (Jimmy Carter and a Democrat-controlled Congress) passed the “Community Reinvestment Act of 1976” (sure SOUNDS good, doesn’t it?) that FORCED lenders to loan money to deadbeats, on pain of having to fund their own defense against “government investigations” of something that they do, which is common sense, not illegality. Then yet ANOTHER democrat administration (Bill Clinton) strengthened it, while Janet Reno threatened “investigations.”

Lenders knew it was bogus, but to avoid the massive expense of defending themselves against these bogus “investigations,” they “went along,” because they were told they would not lose, since Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac would buy up all those bad loans. This was a scheme to elect Democrats by shutting down Fannie and Freddie just before an election, and it worked. But now it is “out of control” and Obama doesn’t know how to stop it. It’s like causing a train to run out of control while nobody knows how to stop it. All he knows how to do is “slow it down.” So Fannie and Freddy (after the election put Democrats in the majority) are now “back in business” with unlimited funding (at our expense) to “keep the lid on as long as Democrats are in power, and to KEEP them in power. George Bush tried and tried, 12 times, to investigate Fannie and Freddie, and was rebuffed every time by their “parents,” Chris Dodd and Barney Frank, who told us ‘Fannie and Freddie are sound” while they knew they were NOT.

Then Obama started giving away our money by the TRILLIONS to his friends and contributors in those “mean, nasty corporations” which, he said, “were too big to fail.” The result? Nada. Nothing. No improvement in the economy. Joblessness continues to rise while they tell us it is “getting better, using phony figures. Inflation continues to rise, at a rate we will not know as long as Ben Vernanke continues to lie to us and tell us (as Chris and Barney did about Fannie and Freddie) “everything’s okay” and there IS no inflation. Meanwhile, prices keep going up and up as Bernanke gleefully prints more and more money. They don’t want us to know that the ONLY cause of inflation is PRINTING MONEY without anything valuable behind it, as they are doing. Then they lie to us and tell us there is no inflation. Gimme a break! We need to get these fools out of office! Quick! (Just common sense)

They’re giving her hell for her “gangster government” crack, but she’s not giving an inch, as people who tell the truth about liberals will not do. Liberals get “all bent out of shape” when you hit too close to home when you say things about them. It's Just the Beginning

What the TSA (Tough Sh-t Administration) is doing at airports all over this nation is just the beginning, according to some pundits. And I believe it. The TSA went into an Amtrak station in Savannah, GA and thoroughly searched everybody who entered until the Amtrak Police ran them out. This is what they’re going to keep on doing until somebody stops them. They’re going to go to football games, and train stations, and finally the street, stopping people and searching them without any kind of warrant, in an unconstitutional fashion. What Is "Hummus?"

At least one fast food outlet in Denver is pushing something called “Hummus,” which is an Arabian dish that has—wait for it—a name that is spelled 14 different ways—as is everything in the Arab world, I guess. Frankly, I wouldn’t eat it. Not because it’s Arabian, but simply because introducing it here is yet another factor in the “Arabianization” of America. We don’t need it. In 2009, the Department of Homeland Security drafted a Domestic Extremist Lexicon that listed Jewish extremism as a threat and described various strands of purportedly dangerous Christian extremism but made no mention of any form of Muslim extremism. This document was pulled along with other questionable Homeland Security publications once their contents became public. The February 2010 Quadrennial Homeland Security Review discussed terrorism and violent extremism but didn't refer to radical Islam in any context. Likewise, the 2010 Quadrennial Defense Review avoids any terminology related to Islam. Mr. King's hearings are a useful step toward opening up the debate on the pressing problem of domestic Islamic extremism. Union Boss Running White House?

He admits he “visits the White House” a couple or three times a week, and speaks on the phone to someone there every day. To do what? Give them their “marching orders?” Does Obama make a move without consulting him first? How about his staffers? Obama hasn’t spoken to SIX of his Cabinet members in MONTHS, yet he talks to Trumka “two or three times a week” (he says, expansively spreading his arms wide). Chris Matthews has again made a statement displaying his utter stupidity, and need for psychiatric care. They need to sneak up on him with a straightjacket and “put him away” for a while, until he starts thinking like a human being. Now he’s calling Newt Gingrich a “terrorist,” displaying his complete lack of knowledge as to just what a terrorist IS. He says Gingrich LOOKS like a terrorist. Rahm Emanuel is now mayor of Chicago. The controversy over his residency is over, as I expected. He runs the Chicago “machine” and will be the successor to the Daleys until he is ready to retire, as they were, father and son. The only reason Obama is not now mayor of Chicago is that he’s president. Leaving the slot open for Rahm. "Saying It Was Just Awful!"

Mike Huckabee talked the other day about Obama’s upbringing in Kenya and how that shaped his worldview, and has been roundly criticized for saying that, even though it is TRUE. I guess telling the truth about liberals, particularly Obama, is VERBOTEN today. I think he is very brave for saying that. I figure his tax return will be very tattered when the IRS gets through with it, One of Obama’s top tools in getting rid of his opposition is to “sic” the IRS on them. Limbaugh and Beck, and many other opponents are audited every year. And not just by the IRS. Their state tax collectors, too. That’s what George Soros, chief “user” of people says. Although how they are “being used,” I can’t figure out. They want less taxation (we are being taxed far too much by this liberal government) and less government. These are lofty goals, but are belittled by such as Soros, who sees less government and less taxation as a threat to himself, personally. Majority in Wisconsin Want cuts

But apparently they’re not among the demonstrators Obama and the state employee unions bussed in to demonstrate against the cuts. Those people, who are NOT demonstrating, unfortunately, are busy working at gainful employment and cannot demonstrate like government workers can. If they left their jobs and turned in phony “doctor’s notes” they’d be fired. But state workers can do that, and get away with it—unless being exposed in the non-liberal news stops them. But liberals aren’t interested in what the majority wants. They proved that when they forced through Obama’s health care swindle law. Maybe we DO need a revolution. Coming Up With New Taxes

That’s the one thing politicians and bureaucrats are very good at. The same kind of people who came up with the ”cow farts” tax in the US and the “anybody farting” tax in Africa came up with this tax on people who attend church. Next they’ll want to tax you every time you go to the bathroom. Maybe not that, but it will be something you MUST do periodically. Maybe it’ll be doctor visits, or a “fee” per mile traveled, no matter how you travel, ON TOP of the taxes already assessed on the mode of travel. (Just common sense)

He says the money they have “is not theirs” and they should “share it” with those not so fortunate. Maybe he ought to begin with his own riches. America’s media is ecstatic over Mubarak’s overthrow, but I’m not. We have supported dictators before if they kept things going and weren't TOO despotic. Yes, Mubarak needed to go. And he is now gone. But what will replace him? Currently the Army has taken over running the country. They have gotten rid of the lawmaking body and made lots of new regulations for better control. They have PROMISED “free and open” elections within six months. Will it happen? And will the Muslim Brotherhood or some other bunch of Muslims come out on top? Moammar Khaddafi (however he spells it this week) needs to be “taken out.” Whatever it takes, as quickly as possible, before he can murder any more of his people. Now he is BOMBING his own people in his desperate attempt to stay in power. How many more innocent people must die before this MONSTER is “removed?” He makes Saddam look like a Sunday school teacher. No wonder Reagan found it necessary to send in a jet to bomb his palace. Too bad he wasn’t there. Maybe if we had better “intelligence,” he would have been there and thousands of innocent people he has killed since would still be alive. I don’t usually recommend killing a “head of state” or any other kind of politician, no matter how bad. But this man is not a “politician.” He is a CRIMINAL who has managed to take over his government and, through fear and murder, kept his power for 40 years. It’s like the Mafia taking over the U. S. government and running it lawlessly for 40 years. Obama needs to send in a jet to “take him out,” with better “intelligence” this time so HE will be there, and not some innocent relative. The grocer. The auto mechanic; the sign painter, the butcher, the baker, etc. Every person who works every day to take care of his own needs and by so doing, take care of some of ours. That’s what capitalism IS. It’s the FREE MARKET where people work to take care of THEMSELVES and while doing it, take care of others, too, while BOTH profit. That’s why it works. That’s why America, which has been run by the free market since its inception as its own country, has bypassed civilizations that have been in existence for THOUSANDS of years. People are working in THEIR OWN INTEREST and thus profiting everybody. In the free market, there is the INCENTIVE to work. Under collectivism (socialism, Fascism, progressivism, etc.) there is NOT. Charlie Sheen Will Die Soon

I don’t usually comment on such important things as Charlie Sheen’s arrogance and ignorance, but the news media is going crazy over it while he destroys what’s left of his career with his big mouth. NOBODY will want to watch that insipid sitcom called “Two and a Half Men” after listening to Charlie’s braying. They should rename it, if they keep it for any time at all, to “A Man and Two Half-Men.” They should get a look-alike replacement for Charlie. People will forget him soon enough. Like they did for that guy who accidentally blew his own brains out on a TV show set a few years ago. They replaced him and no one even remembers what he looked like (before he blew his head off). U. S. Weekly recently published a story about Sarah Palin giving Christina Aguilara hell for ”flubbing” the words to the national anthem at the Superbowl. It didn’t happen. The story was taken from an ADMITTED satire web site. And they went with it as if it were news. This shows graphically the level of “fact-checking” they have at U. S. Weekly and other liberal news organizations. As if Palin would actually comment on such an unimportant thing as Aguilara's flub. Fed LOSES $9 Trillion

The Inspector General has NO IDEA what happened to that money. And the Inspector General has not even started any kind of an investigation of this. Did it go into Bernanke’s pocket? Or into the pockets of Obama’s friends and supporters? Nobody knows, and under current laws, nobody has the authority to find out. What FOOL set up the Fed in such a way that they could walk off with $9 TRILLION dollars with NO investigation as to where the money went or what It was spent for? Sounds like a major SWINDLE to me, with the beneficiaries being the Fed and the friends of the Fed. Will anybody DO anything about it? Don’t hold your breath unless you like turning blue. It was about Sarah Palin, of course, but the media “bought it,” hook, line, and sinker. Sara was supposed to have taken Christina Aguilara to task over her flub of the lyrics of the National Anthem at the super Bowl (what's wrong with that, even if it were true?). The story came from a frankly satirical web site, and the liberal media missed that and ran the story as news. Or maybe they KNEW it was satire and hoped we would not notice. We know Sarah doesn’t “automatically” make statements about unimportant things, and that’s what Aguilara’s flub was. However it is done. He needs to be “taken down,” even if that requires KILLING him, outright. He is nothing but a thug who “took over” his government 40 years ago and has been raping, murdering, and robbing his people ever since. He's worse than Saddam ever was. Recent events have caused a drastic INCREASE in the killings he has sponsored. He ORDERED terrorists to blow up an airplane over Lockerbie, Scotland, that killed hundreds, then conned our president into releasing the perpetrator because he was “terminally ill and wouldn’t live much longer. Schumer Is Ignorant

Like many in our government, Sen. Schumer is completely ignorant about how the constitution works when making laws. Yet he still makes laws that affect millions of Americans. He thinks the three houses of government in America are the House, the Senate, and the White House. It is this kind of ignorance, which seems to be prevalent in Congress, that allows so many unconstitutional laws to be made, and ENFORCED until they are declared unconstitutional after someone has spent a LOT of money to accomplish it. New senators and representatives should be FORCED to leatrn the constitution, and TESTED on it before they are seated. Currently, Obama’s health care swindle has been declared unconstitutional; word is, he plans on enforcing it UNTIL the court gives him a direct injunction (and maybe after that). Never mind that the court said, itself, that “The law no longer exists and that the decision itself ACTS AS AN INJUNCTION on enforcement. I think if he DOES enforce it, just once, he should be IMPEACHED for being in CONTEMPT OF COURT. (InfoWars)

That’s what Obama’s Department of Justice says about the Defense of Marriage Act, a Democrat-made law, made during the Clinton administration. Funny; I always thought declaring laws unconstitutional was the specific responsibility of the courts. That Obama and his DOJ were MANDATED to enforce ALL laws made by the congress until, or unless, declared unconstitutional BY the courts. It’s not his (or their) business to decide which laws they will, or will not enforce. Why is there nothing anybody can do about them refusing to enforce a law? It'll Never Happen!

Muslims predict that Islam will one day run this country with Sharia Law. It’ll never happen. Americans are too intelligent. Yes, they do not “pay attention to politics” and they're not as smart as they used to be, due to liberal schooling. But that’s changing. They’re realizing that we can no longer ignore what our own government, and the world, including Muslim extremists, are doing to us—or TRYING to do to us. Muslims are purposely kept ignorant. Union Pays Homeless to Picket

I’ve always been told that only people affected by something picket to change things. Seems like that isn’t so in Michigan. The Carpenter’s Union hires the homeless at sometimes $10 an hour to walk around with picket signs protesting—something—they don’t know what. They say they’re TOLD what to say if somebody asks them. It’s NOT their own words they are spouting, it’s what the union TOLD them to say. And it they don’t get that $10 an hour, they wouldn’t be picketing. They’d be sitting on their corners, begging, or just hiding from real work. This is the kind of demonstrators that they use, hoping to make their point. (YouTube)

CDC Covers Up Abortion Figures

The Center for Disease Control has, for years, been the ONLY source for figures on just how many innocent infants have been murdered in the womb by abortionists. Recently they stopped publishing that report and “Red State” promptly asked them why. Now, after telling “Red State” to “just move along, nothing to see here,” they’re scrambling to resume that report after “Red State’s earlier report about it. They’ll call me a “wild-eyed anti-extremist,” but frankly I don’t give a damn what they call me. Abortion is unmitigated MURDER of an innocent CHILD before he/she ever gets a chance at life. There is NO SUCH THING as “pro-life” or “pro-death,” which is how the abortionists would have us refer to it. It is either ABORTION (murder) or NON-ABORTION (non-murder). Liberals cry about the “holocaust” where six million Jews were put to death. But the same people DEFEND abortion, where millions of BABIES have been put to death, Nobody knows how many potential Einsteins were put to death this way. Obama Imposes "Gag Order"

The guy who promised the most “open” and “transparent” administration in history (a common promise, usually broken) has insisted that housing proponents must sign a “confidentiality agreement” (a gag order) in order to participate in a rental policy working group. They either sign it or they’re excluded. Apparently this is how Obama plans on dealing with the Republicans as a majority. They no longer have to “sit at the back of the bus,” but if they come forward it is with a “gag” in their mouths. (Politico)

"Thou Shalt Not Pack Heat"

That’s the “commandment” the liberals would like to impose upon us. Others realize that it’s only common sense to say the the most BASIC human right is the right to SELF DEFENSE and the right to own, carry, and USE the means to that end today, a gun. The bad guys, who have NO trouble obtaining guns to use in robbing and killing us, need to WONDER if that supposed “easy target” he/she is about to attack will be armed and willing to kill him before he/she can kill/rob his/her victim. This alone would serve to reduce the number of violent attacks decidedly—without anyone firing a shot or killing anybody. Unemployment Goes Down (Maybe)

Or at least that’s what Obama wants us to think. But what’s happening is that way too many unemployed are just “giving up” and staying home, rather than collect their unemployment checks, which have run out. So they’re no longer counted. Additionally, 10,000 “baby boomers” are retiring every month and their numbers are ALSO no longer counted. These are the kinds of scams that allow Obama to claim an “improving economy” because of his doings. But in reality, everything he has done has made the economy WORSE. Things like the moratorium on oil drilling and the closure of THOUSANDS of GM dealerships, causing the loss of more thousands of jobs. FANNING THE FLAMES: The Muslim Brotherhood; you know, that “peaceful” organization Hosni Muburak (and Jimmy Carter) says is ”no threat” to anyone, is pushing as hard as it can for a war with Israel; a country which has done NOTHING that wasn’t in RETALIATION for what Islamics did to them. This is a “peaceful” organization that is “no threat to anyone?” What a fool Mubarak is to even THINK anybody with any intelligence at all would believe these bull droppings. I’ve told them and told them about the reason for the economic crash, just before the 2008 election, but nobody seems to want to do anything about it. Why? Chris Dodd and Barney Frank were the “architects” of this abomination of a law (The Community Reinvestment Act of 1976), with Democrat Jimmy Carter signing it into law. What it does is FORCE bankers and other lenders to loan money to people who CANNOT repay it. EVERYBODY, even Chris and Barney KNEW this law would create the biggest economic disaster ever, but they didn't care. They knew they could use it for their own purposes. Next, they created Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, two fully government owned financial institutions, to “buy up” all these “toxic assets” (a contradiction in terms if I ever saw one) and “keep the lid on" until conditions were just right to use it to create a Democrat “takeover” of this government It happened just before the 2008 presidential election.

And they “shut down” Fannie and Freddie just before that election long enough to allow the crash to begin so they could blame it on the Republicans and get a Democrat in the White House, and enough Democrats elected to Congress to be in the majority. They succeeded, and shortly thereafter passed a law creating an “open-ended” fund to make sure Fannie and Freddie would be able to “keep the lid on,’ at least for the next eight years while Obama and his Democrat friends raped this country. And rape it they did, spending more money in TWO YEARS than all the presidents before him spent in the entire history of this country. This is so obvious, even my teenage grandson realizes it, but the politicians and bureaucrats don’t. Is it on purpose? I think so. There’s no other explanation for their purposeful BLINDNESS about it. It's the same as their "purposeful blindness" about Obama's birth certificate. (Just common sense)

Hate Speech?

Liberals complain that “conservative” radio hosts use too much “hate speech” and that “sets off” the crazies in our society. They carefully refrain from talking about the LIBERALS talking about IMPEACHIING Justice Clarence Thomas (for what, they can’t say; maybe just for being black) and sending him back to the fields (as a slave, I guess) or just HANGING him. Others want to “duel” with Glenn Beck, killing him, I suppose. (Of course, this violates their unreasonable and irrational hatred of guns). Actually, there are too many examples for me to mention. Point made. Then there’s the guy at the “Code Pink” rally that says what's happening in Egypt needs to be happening here. He shouts, “revolution NOW!” But when asked what he means, he can’t tell you. The picture above is a good example of the subliminal imagery being used by the left in their efforts to “deify” Obama and make you, the people, believe he is “The Second Coming.” He’s not. He is the worst thing to happen to us since Bill Clinton. He is either incompetent, or simply TRYING to ruin the economy of this nation so he can blame it on “capitalism” (otherwise known as “the free market),” so he can convince us that socialism, the system that has RUINED many countries, is the way to go. That’s what MSNBC has declared Bill Clinton to be. How they can be this STUPID is beyond me. Bill Clinton is a “skirt-chaser” who only kept his wife to enhance her own political ambitions. He made almost as many mistakes as Obama when he was president. He was IMPEACHED, although he knew where enough “bodies were buried" to avoid being convicted by the Senate and thus removed from office. He is a DISGRACED ex-president. And MSNBC has the gall to “honor” him in this way. I’ve commented on their stupidity before, but they keep doing things to prove me right, time and time again. The "Iran Signifier"

We used to call the troublemakers in our school a “signifier.” People who were always doing things to stir up trouble. That’s a good description of Iran. Now they want to send a couple of warships through the Suez Canal, something that Egypt and Israel could consider an “act of war.” And if they do something to stop it, they will CLAIM an “act of war” on their part. This is done specifically to “stir up trouble.” Somebody’s got to put an end to Ahmadinijerk and his Mullahs before they ignite the real third world war. Ayatolla Kameni is already claiming to speak for the “12th Imam,” whose coming is the Muslim equivalent of the “2nd Coming” of Jesus Christ in the Christian religion. (The Blaze)

Chris Matthews has always been such an obvious “lefty” that nobody (except himself, of course) even bothers to deny it. As time goes by, he does an excellent job of discrediting himself. Much better than I could hope to achieve. Now he is comparing (without any kind of proof) the Tea Parties with the Muslim Brotherhood, a known terrorist group that “sets up” other terrorist organizations to do their dirty work. How this man can be so STUPID and keep his job speaks ill of the people running MSNBC to human beings. American CNN reporter Nic Robertson went around the crowd in Egypt asking the same question, trying to elicit a reply favorable to Obama; something to make Obama look good on something he had nothing to do with. Something he could use in his re-election campaign. The question was, “How do you feel about President Obama’s positive reaction to the “revolt” that unseated Mubarak? One guy said, "We did this ourselves without your help.” We don’t need you The upshot was, ALL the answers amounted to, “stuff it!” But when Robertson summed up his interviews, he told us “The Egyptians were very happy that Obama supported their revolution.” Just the OPPOSITE of what those interviews showed. This is how the American press, and CNN in particular lie to us, daily. I heard these interviews, but nobody seemed to want to cover this story. I finally found some coverage on Rush Limbaugh’s site. Strangling the Internet

STRANGLING THE INTERNET: The only thing that has kept Obama from just shutting the Internet off when it disagrees with him, it appears, is fear. Fear that doing so will create the very revolution he fears most of all. And he’s right. If he shuts off my own access to the Internet, I will be “in the streets” doing what I can (still) to get rid of him. Hosni Mubarak proved it could be done when he pressured Internet suppliers in Egypt to “cut it off.” The same thing CAN happen here. But I think Obama is right; to do so would be the END of him. The state of New York says that if you own ONE piece of property ANYWHERE in New York, and spend ANY time at all there, EVERY dollar you earn, wherever you actually live, is subject to New York Income Tax. How stupid is THAT? And if you live and work in another state, how do they plan on collecting it? The State of New York seems bent on running all possible business off by excess taxation. Middle East Revolt

There’s a “general revolt” building in the Middle East, and it is being fueled by Islam. The liberal media isn’t saying much about it. All they can talk about is Egypt, as if that were the only place it is going on. The dictator in Tunisia was overthrown and is running for his life; Mubarak has been deposed, the King of Jordan has his own problems. In Saudi Arabia a group is trying to create the FIRST political party to oppose the Royal Family and its THOUSANDS of "princes" who lord it over everybody. You can bet the Islamic extremists are behind it. If we don’t wake up and realize the threat the Islamic extremists represent to us and DO something about it, we will be “swept up” in an Islamic revolution, worldwide. (AP Foreign)

Obama's Contempt For The Law

People think the only time Obama has ignored the court was in his health care swindle law where he planned to enforce the law in SPITE of an unconstitutional ruling by the court. But that’s not the only time. The court ruled his broad oil drilling ban unconstitutional, but he is still enforcing it. He has been found in contempt; will that even slow him down? Doubtful. This makes it obvious that Obama thinks he is a dictator and not subject to the judgments of the Court. We will be a lot better off after Obama has been “sent home” or somewhere else where he can no longer “rule” this country, undeterred by the law. (Investor’s Business Daily)

Unless you’re Islamic, of course. In one school in Michigan, a Sikh student is allowed to carry a dull knife because is is a “religious requirement.” Never mind other students are not allowed to observe THEIR “religious requirements” because they are not Middle Eastern religions. In a nation where a MINIATURE toy gun carried by a BOY in his pocket is grounds for him to be expelled, a Sikh is allowed to carry a dull knife, which could STILL be used as a weapon. This in a nation where a “no tolerance policy” for weapons of ANY kind, even tiny ones, is normally enforced. (Detroit Free Press)

Nobody wants Keith Olbermann, not even MSNBC or other liberal sites. But AlGore’s “Current TV” wants him. He likes him so much he “gushes” about him: “He’s a unique talent and he has a magnetic personality and people form a relationship with him because they know that he is brilliant, they know he is speaking from his heart, they know he has passionate beliefs. He cares about them a lot. And he marries that to his formidable intelligence. And I think people appreciate his authenticity and where he’s coming from. …” Yes, he’s “passionate about his beliefs.” But his beliefs do not make sense. He makes up stories to support his beliefs and excoriates others who tell the truth about him or other liberals, for TELLING the truth about liberals. He’s a fool. And he’s in a good place now, with ratings even WORSE than he had at MSNBC. I can’t even FIND “Current TV” on my Cable service. (The Blaze)

Illegal Farting

The African country of Malawi wants to make it illegal to fart. Never mind it’s sometimes almost impossible to “pin it on” the right person. Children will let go a poo, then blatantly point at someone else. So will many adults. My personal opinion is it’s the usual attempt by politicians to control EVERYTHING we do. In one children’s school in the USA, they expelled a child for pooping in her pants. Children at that age will do that, so what’s the big thing? I think the whole thing is a bunch of stinky brown stuff. People WILL fart. If it is illegal to do it in pubic they will still fart in private. As a means of "cleaning up" the atmosphere this law is a BUST. As are the laws in this country that allow the government to lay a fee on every cow a rancher owns because the cows emit gas. all they do is give the government more power to take more money from us. Arabs Blame U. S.

As usual, Arabs blame America for their problems. Like Obama, who uses George Bush as his “whipping boy,” blaming Bush for all his own problems, they blame America for theirs so their people will not know their problems have been CREATED by their Arab rulers themselves. Most Arab countries are ruled by dictatorships or kings (another name for a dictator). This has served to create all the problems they face. To confuse their people, whom they work hard to KEEP ignorant, they use America as THEIR “whipping boy,” blaming all their ills on America. Republicans Stiff Tea Party

They’d better get their act together and start cooperating with the Tea Parties or many of THEIR number will go home in 2012, right along with all the liberal Democrats we didn’t get this time. They’re going right along with the liberals in accusing the peaceful Tea Partiers with being violent. This with NO proof of any kind. Apparently they don’t know who their friends are. The Tea Partiers, along with real Republicans, can finish the “takeover” of government we started in 2012. What the hell FOR? They think Arabic is “one of the languages of the future.” What? How stupid is this! Do they think the Islamic terrorists are going to WIN this war THEY have started against the world? What earthly REASON do they give for figuring Arabic will be “one of the languages of the future?” Sometimes I wonder about some of these “school officials.” Is it REQUIRED that they live in an alternate universe” to be able to BE a “school administrator?” This is almost as stupid as banning tiny plastic cannons (that kids carry in their pockets) from classrooms under the “zero tolerance” scam. Fortunately, “cooler heads” prevailed, and when they got a LOT more opposition than planned, they are “backing off.” I guess they thought they could get it in without parents finding out. Chris Matthews has shown his complete ignorance many times in his “spotted career,” but this is a “topper.” He wonders why the Republicans would even let somebody like Bachmann or Palin RUN. The answer is simple to intelligent people. Either of these women are so much smarter than those now in office that there isn’t any comparison. People like Matthews are too ignorant to know how ignorant they are. I Missed It

For many years I paid no attention to politics because of the apathy I saw in the sixties to the encroachment of liberals and other socialists on our government; the fact that so many people just ignored it. So I decided to join them and pay no attention, and thus missed the eight years of the finest presidency in my lifetime (Ronald Reagan). For that I am very sorry. I began waking up again with the rise of another charismatic figure, Rush Limbaugh. Plus the eight years of Bill Clinton, whose actions inflamed my anger at his attempts to “take over” the power to control my every action. I listened to Limbaugh detail the things Clinton did, using his own words and images. I figured rightly that if such as Limbaugh could be a success saying the things I believed, maybe there was a chance for this country, after all.

In the sixties, I was a “Goldwater Democrat.” I went around wearing a gold donkey that wore horn-rimmed glasses, which was the symbol of Barry Goldwater. I was a Democrat because my father was a Democrat. But supporting Barry Goldwater made me realize how LOW the Democrats would sink to beat him. When I finally “wised up” and started paying attention again, I realized that, even though we had a Republican in the white House after him (Richard Nixon), he was no Ronald Reagan, and those who followed were worse. People call me a Republican, but I’ve never BEEN a Republican, though they are close to what I am, in theory, though today’s Republicans don’t always do what Republicans should do. I am a “rational individualist,” which is NOT a political party. I admire Ronald Reagan because of his accomplishments as president.

People like “Ronnie” and I don’t usually get “honors” for what we do because most of the organizations that offer such honors are liberal. But history will remember Ronald Reagan when the liberal historians have been overcome by those who insist on writing the truth, not history as they would LIKE it to be. Today is Ronald Reagan’s 100th birthday and watching the ceremony honoring this date and the man is represents actually brought me to tears. Today we have a president who is far worse than Bill Clinton (who is still lauded by the Democrats, despite what he did to hurt the Democrat Party). I believe Obama will finish the job Clinton started, destroying the Democrat Party for all time—or at least for as long as the people who suffered under his “rule” are alive. (The Telegraph)

That’s what newly minted Speaker of the House Boehner told the reporter on Fox when he started giving him a “hard time” about smoking. Boehner rightfully rebuffed him, saying he could ask him about anything BUT his smoking, which is none of his business! It’s mostly liberals who give others a hard time about things that are none of their business, but in this case it was a conservative who has taken up the anti-smoking banner. Maybe he’d better spend more time on things that are important and quit trying to criticize people for things that are important only to THEM. (The Blaze)

Get It OUT of the Way!

Why not get the question of Obama’s birth out of the way by simply SHOWING his birth certificate, to shut up the many important people who are demanding it? I could never figure out why he didn’t—IF he has one. If he doesn’t, that makes him ineligible to BE president. That’s a good reason for him to obstruct those trying to see it if true. If he IS a citizen, why not prove it and make this controversy go away? He calls those who doubt he has one “birthers,” which is a derogatory name. I guess now I’M a “birther,” too. I will not rest until I’ve seen a CERTIFIED copy of his birth certificate. The World Net Daily has compiled a list of the “better known” people who are demanding to see this document. They didn’t even get far enough down the line to include the THOMA$ REPORT. But the list they DO show contains some of the biggest, most important names in this country, politicians and otherwise. "Consumed" by Race

CU Boulder’s colors are black and gold. Their students paint their bodies in some combination of those two colors. Unfortunately the racists in the “administration” don’t like that. They’re afraid of anything black. They’re deathly afraid of "offending" someone, even though they are the only ones with that on their mind. Racists are people who are CONSUMED by race; people of either color, black or white. Those students have not had a single thought in their heads about race. They simply take pride in their school. It’s unfortunate for them that ONE of their school colors happens to be black—therefore frightening their “administrators.” February is “black history month.” Why? Where is the month for “white history?” Nowhere—that’s racist.

What? Why is “white history month “ racist, while black history month is not? There should not be a need for black history month, to illustrate the contributions of black people to America’s history. But it seems to be, because black history has been ignored by the racists in the ranks of historians. Black history ought to have been written right along with white history—but it wasn’t I know some great black people. I also know some great white people. Also, I know some crappy black, AND white people. I judge people as INDIVIDUALS. Black or white. The same for Muslims--or Jews (unfortunately, most Muslims don't feel the same way), and other nationalities. I don't judge people by the group they're in. There should be no need for CU’s administration to be AFRAID of the color black. The students aren’t. There are way too many people whose minds are CONSUMED by race, and other differences. A Reason For Removal

John McCain is a Republican. He purposely threw the 2008 election to put Obama in the White House. Everyody thinks he's a conservative, but he's not. He went with an obscure governor of what he thought was a “backward state” to run with him, hoping she would cause instant failure in the election. She didn’t. She “hit the ground running,” making an acceptance speech that electrified the nation. Horrified, he worked to quickly “muzzle” her, and none of the rhetoric we heard in her first speech was ever heard again until AFTER the election. He lost, as planned. Obama is in the White House, pushing HARD to impose collectivism (socialism) upon us. For that alone, McCain should be removed from office and leave Washington in disgrace. BUt he had “created a monster.”

Sarah Palin won’t shut up. She even quit as Alaska’s governor to stop liberals from bankrupting her state to defend herself against the phony “charges” they brought against her, so she could make enough money so she could fight them off herself and position herself for her own run at the presidency in 2012. She WILL run; and she WILL win. That’s what frightens them to death—Democrats and Republicans alike. They keep preaching her stupidity, hoping if they repeat it often enough, we’ll believe it. But they can’t shut her up, short of killing her and making her a martyr. I think she’s a female Ronald Reagan and is going to “upset their applecart” in 2012. Believe it. (The Hill)

"Thou shall Not "Pack Heat"

That’s the “commandment” the liberals would like to impose upon us. Others realize that it’s only common sense to say the the most BASIC human right is the right to SELF DEFENSE and the right to own, carry, and USE the means to that end today, a gun. The bad guys, who have NO trouble obtaining guns to use in robbing and killing us, need to WONDER if that supposed “easy target” he/she is about to attack will be armed and willing to kill him before he/she can kill/rob his victim. This alone would serve to reduce the number of violent attacks decidedly—without anyone firing a shot or killing anybody. Thieves are basically cowards. Already Created Over A Million Jobs!

That’s what Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius says. This is the “elastic thinking” that permeates the federal government today. If it has created over a million jobs, where ARE they? They haven’t shown up in the jobs figures, have they? Do you think she’s just “making it up as she goes along?” I certainly do. Just As Wrong

In South Dakota they want to pass a law FORCING every citizen to buy a gun. This is just as unconstitutional as Obama’s health care swindle law that requires every American to buy health insurance. What gives these “lawmakers” the idea they have the right to DEMAND a citizen buy ANYTHING? So-called “lawmakers” at all levels are constantly coming up with laws that exceed their authority and spit on the Constitution. We ought to make a law that can punish them for even SUGGESTING a law that is patently unconstitutional. Why Doesn't Someone DO Something?

“AFL-CIO head Richard Trumka made quite a bold admission recently when he revealed raising wages for workers wasn't really his top priority. Instead, his top priority is to use union money to fundamentally transform America into his progressive vision.” There are several different opinions about how good “progressivism” is for us. Progressivism is SOCIALISM under a different name to fool the public. To promote socialism under a phony name is, or should be, grounds for DISMISSAL of somebody who is SUPPOSED to be trying to make things better for union workers. Will anybody push for it? Obama's Health Care Swindle Reversed

Maybe not by the Congress, which is still “ruled” in the Senate by the Democrats. But a federal court has ruled the ENTIRE law unconstitutional. Which means enforcing it at all is in question. But Republicans should not relax. It still could make a “turn-around” with all the liberal activist judges there are in the court. Obama says the judge who blocked his law is an “activist judge.” So what? Many of them are “activist judges.” What Obama doesn’t like is this judge is not one of HIS “activist judges.” A federal judge has ruled the entire Obama health care swindle unconstitutional, so what does Obama do? Does he plan on observing this ruling as a president ruled by laws, not whims, does? NO. He “goes after” the judge, saying he is an “activist judge,” as if that made any difference.

The judge is the judge, and he has the power to do what he did, regardless. Same as when one of OBAMA’S “activist judges” makes a decision AGAINST the Constitution. All this proves is that Obama thinks he’s “all-powerful.” But one judge is enough. If a judge in ONE COURT rules a law unconstitutional, it doesn’t matter if sixteen others ruled otherwise. The law CANNOT be enforced. Obamacare is OVER. It need not be repealed. It’s dead. Obama just won’t admit it. The feds now question the right of a lower court to judge the federal government. This is typical Obama. But that’s what the Supreme Court is THERE for. Nothing else. (Salt Lake City Examiner)

The federal government continues to excel when it comes to finding wasteful and stupid ways to waste taxpayer’s (YOUR) money. The “Poems in Zoos” plan is one of the most outlandish. The government has spent $11.5 BILLION dollars on such foolishness just this year. Another example is giving Las Vegas $5.2 million to build the “Las Vegas Boneyard Park and Museum,” to gather and display old Las Vegas neon signs that have been replaced when Las Vegas upgraded and improved its appearance over the years (such items usually end up in the junk yard at little expense to YOU) . Then there’s the $515,000 they gave the University of Santa Cruz to digitize Grateful Dead memorabilia. This is what the government spends your money on, at a time when it is BANKRUPT. (CNS News)
