The New England Journal of Medicine is arguing against “assigning sex at birth.” As if you could. You can only DISCOVER the sex at birth. By seeing if the baby has a penis, or a vagina. There are no other possibilities. To think otherwise is stupid. Yet some people PRETENDING to be scientists claim otherwise.
