Trump thought he couldn’t lose in his quest to get rid of the criminal element in DC government. He thought he could go in and expose it and the “honest ones” would take it from there. But there were no “honest ones,” and they used his findings against him. Now he’s “on the ropes” and he can’t figure out why. They are masters at covering up their corruption, and they “saw him coming.”
