So he blocked a vote on
gun control law repeal completely. He wanted to get “a consensus” between
Democrats and Republicans on the matter but he couldn’t. So he just “shut the
door” on a vote (took his ball and went home), completely. This is how Harry Reid works. If he doesn’t get his way, he just “shuts Republicans down,” since he is the MAJORITY leader in
the Senate and controls just what, indeed, can even BE voted on. Yes, Democrats
ARE in the majority in the Senate. But that should not give them the right to
stop even a VOTE on various matters. Harry would like to be a DICTATOR, and his
position in the Senate is as close as he’s ever going to get—and he’s going to
make the most of it until he is voted out in an election he CAN’T control.
