Complete. Absolute. Stupidity

In the Old West, most men carried guns, because to not do so left them open to the marauding bandits that rode the countryside. That way, they at least had a chance to defend themselves against them. If anybody had suggested that they “get rid of their guns,” they’d have laughed in their face because, the way to self defense is NOT to make yourself defenseless, and they knew it. Somewhere along the line, people lost that knowledge and many are now blaming the gun for “gun violence,” and pushing to “get rid of the guns,” making themselves defenseless against the “bandits” that still abound, with their ILLEGAL guns. Whenever some fool shoots up a school, or other “gun-free zone,” the anti-gun fools immediately clamor to get rid of more LEGAL guns, and make ourselves defenseless. That’s sheer stupidity! But they don’t know that. Stupid people have no idea they ARE stupid. They think they’re the “smartest people in the room,” and all the others are stupid. I don’t know about others, but if some fool comes at me with a gun, I want to have a gun to use to stop him. That’s just common sense. (Just common sense)
