"Don't Offend A Muslim!"

That seems to be what the liberal “intelligentsia” are telling us today, and I don’t understand it. I guess there were some people who told us in the 30’s that we should not “offend National Socialists (Nazis),” until the Nazis started killing people outside of Germany. I like the Muslim people—except for the ones that pretend to control how we think, and how we act, according to THEIR “values,” not ours. I respect their right to follow their faith. I DON'T recognize, nor condone it when they interfere with our right to do the same. I have no time for those who “get offended” by what we do, and then criticize us for criticizing their treatment of women and the other things they do that are contrary to our values. And I especially have no time for the extremist Muslims who think they have the “right and duty” to KILL us if we don’t convert to their “religion.” Then there are the Muslims who are antisemitic. Oh; that’s ALL of them. Or nearly all of them. It’s a tenet of their “religion.” Of course, as with all religions, some of their adherents don’t accept ALL of the teachings of the MEN who promote the religion. I have no problem with Muslims who don’t try and change our values to match theirs, but I DO have a problem with those Muslims who do.

Especially with those who “complain” when we do something that is none of their business. It frightens me when a “respected college” like DePaul University condemns one of their own professors for being on the side of Israel because it “offends” Muslims. That should not count for ANYTHING. It is his right to respect the rights of Israel. What that professor thinks of Israel is his own business; period. And not that of his college. And Muslims don’t have the right to complain because he is on Israel’s side. Disliking Israel and all that it does , is for Muslims, and they should not attempt to force us to think the same way. We don’t try and force them to think the way we do and, even if we don’t approve of their treatment of women, we don’t voice that opinion and demand they stop. What DePaul University did to this professor is effectively canceling his right to free speech. Something we value in this country, even if Muslims do not. Not in their own countries, NOR here in America. (Legal Insurrection)
