Separation of Church and State
Many people think this concept should keep church and state completely
separate. That ANYTHING “religious” should be kept away from ANTYTHING owned or
used by the state. But you know what? It is NOT in the Constitution. Never has
been. The concept was only mentioned ONCE in a letter between two of the
“Founders.” And even so, it only says the “state” should not DICTATE religion.
The concept DOES NOT mean “freedom FROM religion.” Too many people think this
concept IS in the Constitution and treat it as if it were. Can ANYBODY find a
mention of it IN the Constitution? There’s a link below TO the Constitution.
Please study it and tell me where, in the Constitution, the “separation of
church and state” is even MENTIONED. I certainly can’t find it. (The Constitution)
