Rangel Making A Deal?

He says he's not. I don't believe him because he lies. The Democrats control the prosecution process, so don’t look for much to happen to tax cheat/tax law writer Charlie Rangel. “Embattled Democratic Rep. Charles Rangel was meeting with the head of the House ethics committee and other top Democrats amid rumors he may try to work out a deal rather than face a full vetting of the charges he is now facing.” And it will probably work, because the Democrats don’t want a Democrat to be “found wanting” just before the 2010 elections, while they’re trying hard to avoid being “swept” out of office for the crimes they have all been a part of in the last year or more.
