No Such Thing As Treason

It does seem like there is no such thing as treason any more. One web site releases 96,000 pieces of classified information they stole (or had somebody else steal) from a badly protected government web site. They released the documents to, guess who? The New York Times, Of course. NYT LOVES to release classified documents that may cause people to be imprisoned or killed. The government simply says “these are nothing new; everybody knows most of this” and takes no action against this web site owner. What does it take for this government to take action against this treason? They’re quick enough to take action against people who disagree with them. Maybe it’s because these people DO agree with them. They MAY “take action” against this man, but I’d bet it is wimpy action and won’t mean much. (New York Magazine)
