Megadonors

I’m at a loss to understand why “megadonors” are allowed to donate so much money to Dumocrats to keep them in business opposing Republicans. I thought there was a top limit on the amounts they could contribute, just to keep this from happening. I guess it is because the limits are only on the amount they can contribute to any one candidate, which Hollywood’s contributors “get around” by contributing the max to single candidates and spending millions using PACs and SUPERPACs to promote their candidacies while not actually contributing to THEM. There needs to be a new law limiting how much any contributor can contribute to any one PARTY without a matching contribution to the opposing party to even things out and keep them from “buying” elections, as Bloomberg had actually BRAGGED about doing. Or to make those PAC donations into “in-kind contributions” the way they do with Republican contributors. (Just common sense)
