Against Self Defense

That’s what the anti-gun fools are pushing. They hate the very idea of self defense, but deny it, saying, we just want to reduce “gun crime.” Remember that fool in Texas who brought a shotgun into a church under his coat and started killing people with it? We now know he was a felon and not permitted to own ANY gun legally. So after a licensed gun carrier shot him and kept his “kill rate” very low, what do the anti-gun fools do? They moved to make laws to stop not the shooter being able to carry a gun, but to keep those heroic Texans from being able to bring their guns into church, leaving those church-goers completely defenseless against his illegally-owned gun. They made it about criticizing the fact that there were so many LEGAL guns there. Never mind those legal guns did not kill any innocent people and the one ILLEGAL gun did. They weren’t worried about the many laws the shooter broke when he came into that church to kill. They were “concerned” about the “danger” involved in parishioners being able to bring their guns into the church. That proves conclusively that their purpose is to remove the right to self defense from all people (except those who get their guns illegally, of course). Fortunately, wiser heads prevailed and laws were made to allow armed security in churches. (America’s First Freedom)
