Another "Green Jobs" Scam
ANOTHER “GREEN JOBS” SCAM: This one run by politicians (democrats all), for politicians. And predictably it is a complete failure. The location they selected for their plant is an empty field, containing only one rotting construction trailer. The company, “Green Tech Automotive company, Inc.,” is under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission (did you read about that in the liberal media?) and the high hopes for thousands of residents of one of the poorest states in the nation are being dashed along with the hopes of all those who desperately wanted a “green car.” The company was conceived by former Democrat National Committee chair Terry McAuliffe, financed by foreign people promised American citizenship, run by the brother of Hilary Clinton. The company is owned by a Chinese businessman, which means it is owned by the communist Chinese government. The foreign investors were less interested in the money they could make than the promise of American citizenship. So far, they have made less than 100 cars, and not made a single sale. Not even to “green-minded” liberals.
They conned rich foreigners out of $500,000.000 investments by promising them a “path to citizenship” faster than that afforded people who have been trying under the normal system for many years. What an ingenious con; Obama must have thought it up. It involved the government’s “EB-5 Program.” “The EB-5 program is capped at 10,000 investors a year, and had 6,106 applicants in 2012. Under the rules of the program, each EB-5 investment must create at least 10 jobs. In exchange, the foreign investors get to stay in the United States for up to two years and can then apply for full citizenship, a speedier process than afforded to most other immigrants who must wait five years after establishing residency before being eligible for citizenship.” This sounds like an Obama con: use government to facilitate sham “employment” programs, especially phony “green programs.” Reading this article reveals a “tangled web of deceit” fostered by Obama’s government, which, in addition to sucking “investments” out or foreigners, gives Democrat politicians lucrative jobs “on the quiet.” (Mail.com)
