Twisting of Facts (As Usual)
(As usual) the liberals blame everything on Republicans. Never themselves. “Yahoo Finance economics editor Daniel Gross Friday evening: "In downgrading the U.S.'s credit rating, S&P points out what has long been obvious: Washington's inability to come to an agreement on how to close the large fiscal gaps that have emerged since the recession began is troubling. Recent events have sapped the agency's confidence that the government can and will do what is necessary to align revenues with spending commitments. And it's difficult to escape the conclusion that America's credit rating was intentionally sabotaged by Congressional Republicans." I have one question: What MAKES it “obvious?” The credit agency is unimpressed with Obama’s performance on our budget so it’s the Republican’s fault? I think not. Way to add 1 + 1 and come up with 3, Yahoo News! (News Busters)

The article is not really from Yahoo News, it was an opinion piece by Daniel Gross, a Yahoo economics finance editor, on his blog. ;-) Unfortunately, others will take the single sentence from his entire post and blow it out of proportion, placing blame on Republicans only. I've even seen the quote attributed to S&P on a comments section of an article on a newspaper site and made it clear the quote was misattributed.
