See A Gun, Go Bananas

On campus at Virginia Tech, some children saw a man with something “that looked like a gun” and they went bananas, called to cops, and the cops searched the campus, putting out an alert. Anti-gun nuts, instead of seeing to it that there were people working there who could get a “carry permit” get one and bring it to work to counter such things as a “crazed gunman” shooting everybody, insist on even further LIMITS on guns on campus, which will make it easier for the next “crazed gunman.” They’ll never understand that the presence of guns unbeknownst to a deranged killer or other criminal who would not obey a law saying he could not be armed, is probably the ONLY way to prevent such attacks by enabling the people there to defend themselves by killing him before he can kill a lot of innocent people. At a Colorado Springs, Colorado church, for example, ONE WOMAN who was legally armed and not afraid to shoot stopped such a deranged gunman from killing more than two by simply shooting him before he got into the church. But don’t make such a suggestion to a “crazed gun hater.” He/she’s not “wired” to accept reason. He/she simply wants to “get rid of guns” and actually believes that will stop such violence. It won’t, so they will use such instances to further limit our right to defend ourselves. (Chicago Sun-Times)
