False "Assistance"

I get essentially this information in an e-mail at least once a week: “Private Memo: Status Ray Thomas Request For Assistance (I did not send a "request for assistance). Average American Received 4,731 to 9,442 USD In Benefits* Status Memo (Thomas): 06.08.2011 Did you know: Billions that the government gives away that can be used for such things as medical expenses, going to school, starting a business, housing expenses. Almost any legitimate need is provided for. Find What You Qualify For Now. *The average American is collecting from 4,731 - 9,442 per year in benefits (USA Today, April 25, 2011). If you are not collecting at least this much, you are urged to apply this week. Sincerely, The FFH Team Copyright © 2011 WFLVLP 8721 Santa Monica Los Angeles, CA 90069 US. Notice that nowhere is “The FFH Team” or “WFLVP identified. Googling the address gets you the info that the address is a “mail drop” in Los Angeles. There is no way to find out who is behind this regularly received e-mail. Common sense tells me this is yet another scam preying on people who feel they need assistance. (Just common sense)
