Press Protection
There has never been a president that was better protected—not by the Secret Service—by the press. Every time anybody writes or says ANYTHING against him or his policies, it is the press that ‘circles the wagons.” When Andrew Breitbart shows part of a video damning to a Democrat, they “leap to the defense of Democrats,” whatever the facts. They lie and dismiss facts as “unimportant.” They call Breitbart “a discredited blogger,” completely forgetting their own shortcomings and the fact that they could not prove him wrong. I noticed during the election how partial and protective the press was to Obama. That has only gotten worse. The question is how is this control being maintained???
Anon: The control on the press is being maintained by the "fellow liberals" running things. Reporters know if they try and get outside of the "liberal line" they will be fired and blackballed, as one NBC reporter was, MINUTES after he departed from the liberal line and told the truth. It's self-censorship. They're no longer newspeople. They're lap-dogs for Obama. They don't know that if Obama ever gets ALL he wants, they'll be the first ones to be shut up.
I guess we already live under communism....
Anon: Not communism...yet. But we're moving ever closer to socialism, which is the same thing with only cosmetic differences. Both are collectivism. The press is run by liberals, so they're going to be friendly to Obama and his "merry band" of socialists.
