Socialism IS Socialism

“Crazy Bernie” Sanders is trying valiantly to separate his brand of socialism (called “Democratic Socialism”) from that supported and promoted by other Dumocrats. What he fails to tell you is that socialism CANNOT be “democratic.” Socialism REQUIRES an authoritarian government for it to even look like it is working. It cannot be imposed without it. Socialism is but ONE form of collectivism. Collectivism uses many names to fool the gullible people who buy the BS of socialism. Socialism, communism, progressivism, Fascism, and many other names are used to describe systems that are simply collectivism with “cosmetic differences.” Collectivism and all its derivatives are described by its motto: “FROM each according to his ABILITY, and TO each according to his NEED.” Making need a DEMAND upon the EARNINGS of those capable and willing to earn their own way. It is BASED on the THEFT of part of the earnings of the producers of new wealth for the benefit of those who, for whatever reason, produce NO new wealth and wish to profit from those who do. Bernie’s socialism is no different from all other forms of collectivism except maybe in small details. Socialism is socialism, and has no place in this country, which has risen above all other civilizations that have been around for thousands of years, in little under 300 years, by use of the free market. That has made this country the destination of choice for thousands, maybe even millions of people who want to better themselves. We don’t want to ruin that by changing to a FAILED system that has failed in so many countries where it has been tried. Namely Russia, Venezuela, and other countries yet to fail from use of a system that produces NOTHING, and steals from the producers of new wealth. (Real Clear Politics)
