Press Field Day

Well, they finally got a Republican. The liberal media tries its best to ignore or belittle the many scandals that involve Dumocrats while playing up any that happen to Republicans. They try to “make haywith any they find that involve Republicans and they’re going to have a “field day” with Republican member of Congress Duncan Hunter and his wife, both of whom have been accused of corruption. His wife has pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate with prosecutors. How that is affected by the fact that a spouse cannot testify against the other spouse, I don’t know. I guess that only applies if the spouse is not willing to testify. They are accused of misusing campaign funds. They are accused of using campaign funds to finance their lavish lifestyle. One of the things she told the judge was that her husband tried to set up a visit to a military base in one case to justify one of their trips. Her husband says the charges are political, but I think they may have corroborating evidence that implicates him. He says his wife was “pressured” into her actions implicating him, and he may be right. At least, that’s what they have done many times in their efforts to implicate President Trump in SOMETHING. But if they do have corroborating evidence, those claims don’t mean much. If not, THEY may be true. (CNN)
