ARE We in a Police State?

Only in a police state can a woman, videotaping a cop’s traffic stop from her own property, be arrested for refusing to stop. The cops said she shouted some things that were very “anti-police” before she started taping. Since when do we no longer have freedom of speech? When did saying nasty things while standing in your own property become a crime? She was charged with “obstructing government administration.” What? What did she do to “obstruct government administration” from her own property? Couldn't they do their jobs when being taped? Sounds a little like what they charge people with in communist China when they arrest “malcontents.” People they call "hooligans." When she was arrested at a demonstration in March, and the cops videotaped her when they arrested her. Is this a case of “do what I tell you, and not what I do?” They say when a cop gives you an order (even if they don’t have the authority to do so) you should obey it. Does that mean if he orders me to run my car into a telephone post I should do it or be arrested? What a STUPID thing to say! The problem they have with her is they know her and don’t like her. I guess she was actually arrested for “contempt of cop.” The cop said he "didn't feel safe" with her there. If he's that fearful, maybe he's in the wrong job. (The Blaze)

Anon: NO, we're not there yet. They'll just treat her like a criminal and cost her a lot of money for her "contempt of cop."
