Why Should She?

Barbara Walters scolds Elisabeth Hassleback for "never conceding a point" after she alone among the hosts defended Sarah Palin when the others said she wasn't "smart enough" to be vice president. Why should she when she's right? Barbara thinks she should concede that someone else just has a different opinion. That sounds like subjectivist thinking, to me.
