Both Obama and McCain "want in" on what is going to happen in the "economic disaster" we're in now. There is going to be a new bureaucracy created to "deal with" this situation and they want their names to be connected to it. Of course, if it fails, they'll be at the front of the line of those running in the other direction. Nut they want in, now. Because that's more "free face time" on television. McCain says he is "suspending his campaign" to go to Washington and help, while Obama just spouts his opinion on what should be done (most of which is more government and higher taxes).
