Liberals are (as usual) criticizing President Trump for “walking
out” on talks with the Taliban after they blew up a bunch of
people. This shows graphically they know nothing about negotiation.
They say he is the worst negotiator, ever, when he is actually the
best. Have they never heard of “the walkout?” where one
negotiator “walks out” because he’s being asked for too much,
while the other one must rethink his position quickly if the
negotiations are to continue. It’s part and parcel of any
negotiation and forces the other side to come to better terms if they
want to gain anything. Frankly, negotiating with the Taliban, or ANY
Muslim terrorist group is counterproductive, and the only eason for
Trump to even engage in it is to show this. Muslim terrorists want
one thing: the DEATH of non-believers, and they will accept nothing
less. Fools on the other side say, “give something,” which with
Muslim terrorists is “giving some lives away.” To do so would be
intolerable, and Trump knows it. Trump sets up some negotiations so
he can cancel them when the Muslim terrorists do the unthinkable, to
show their perfidy. And it worked. They did, and it is painfully
obvious they are not ready, in any fashion, to negotiate. (NBC News)
