ABC News Lies...Again
About guns! What did you think they lied about? Everything? Probably. They lie about so many things in their efforts to support the liberal/socialist programs, it's hard to pick out what specific lies to tell about. I used to watch ABC News regularly, until I learned why what I thought I knew was so different from the truth. They had been lying to me, right along. So have NBC and CBS, and just about every other "news source" except Fox and certain news sites on the Internet. I've learned not to depend on the "major media" (which is quickly becoming the "minor media) for anything news-wise. That's a lesson many people will NEVER learn, and I'm sorry to know that. And you think that Fox News is any different? That like saying sausage patties are different than sausage links: it's the same crap in a different form. Don't be naive.
The news media (ALL OF THEM, Kiddo) are forming, shaping and coloring everything they say in an effort to make you think or do something in a very specific way. You simply need to slow down for a bit and think about it to come to a full understanding. Or better yet, DON'T WATCH OR LISTEN, just think for yourself.

Yes, I DO think Fox is different, because I watch both and can tell the difference because I get my news from other sources, as well. Sounds like you're the one who is naive, AND condescending. Actually, I'm 70 and have been around long enough to have seen it before, and am thus not surprised to see it again. How old are YOU?
I'm 60, Ray and it took me a long time (and a couple of careers in liberal AND conservative news media) to realize what was behind the smoke and mirrors.
Don't breathe any more of the smoke Ray. Don't get hypnotized by the mirrors. Treat all media equally: with a great deal of skepticism if you must pay it any attention at all. But you're better off to ignore it and enjoy life.

You can't ignore the news media and what it purports to tell you. You can't "ignore politics" and hope politics will ignore you. You have to "dig deep" and know what is going on. Your crack about "breathing the smoke" is insulting to one who looks a lot deeper than ANY "news source" to find out what is REALLY going on. You claim "several" careers in both conservative AND liberal news media. Did you really learn anything?
I know I'm not telling YOU anything you don't know. But some readers still need proof, and I intend to keep on providing it.
