Do "The Rich" Not Pay Their Fair Share?

Have you ever been told by a liberal that "the rich" don't pay "their fair share" of taxes?" They keep telling this lie, over and over, hoping repetition will make it true. But it's NOT true. The top one percent of ("the rich," according to liberals) paid 39.4% of the total taxes paid, according to THE IRS! The bottom 50% of wage-earners paid a MAXIMUM of 7.5% since 1981, and only 3.5% in 2005! The top 50% of wage-earners paid 96.9% of all taxes paid. This does not even include those who are "net tax-receivers" who earn no money and live at the government's expense (and thus vote Democrat to keep the "goodies" coming).
