Iranians May Be Getting Smarter

While Americans just showed their collective ignorance by giving majority power in the Congress back to Democtrats, Iranians, who made a similar mistake when they voted Ahmadinejad into the presidency of Iran, are showing signs of a return to intelligence: "While trying to project his image as a world leader offering an alternative to "American hegemony", President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of the Islamic Republic of Iran may be heading for his first major political defeat at home. In fact, some analysts in Tehran expect his defeat to be so decisive as to puncture the super-inflated image created by his friends and foes, albeit for different reasons." Will that make him shut up? Doubtful. Only being "thrown out" of office MIGHT do that. He thinks he's the most important individual in Iran. He even thinks he can put the story of 6 million Jews being murdered by the Nazis "up for debate," just because he said so. Six million Jews who died, and their relatives, might have something to say about that. (Arab News,)
