Confused

"Anonymous" wrote a criticism of my "Hillary Is A Menace!" post in which he /she said, "Does JFK's statement, 'Ask not what your country can do for you, ask instead what you can do for your country?' Mean anything to you? There seems to be a glitch at work in my system preventing an answer in the usual place. So I'll answer here. Frankly, I think he/she's confused. He/she says, "What if everybody only thought of numero uno? Where would we be now?" The answer is, we'd be much further than we are now, with so many people wanting what belongs to others without the bother of EARNING it. JFK's statement referred to what YOU could do, not what THE GOVERNMENT could do. What Hillary wants is to get people to let government (her) do it for you, with other people's money) It is INDIVIDUAL INITIATIVE that BUILT this country, not socialism, and that is where Hillary would take us. Socialism is what is running most other countries. Countries that rely on the US to bail them out of what their socialist policies have led them to. We have bypassed every other country in the world in about 250 years because of our capitalist (individualist) economy, while other countries have had THOUSANDS of years of socialism and failed. JFK was a liberal, but liberalism then would be criticized as "conservatism" by today's liberals, who are frankly blatant collectivists (socialists). In fact, JFK was one president who, despite his other errors, did one thing that was VERY conservative: he LOWERED taxes, and therefore INCREASED the "tax take." Maybe if "Anonymous" would use his head a little more, he might not have to hide behind the "Anonymous" moniker when commenting. I probably shouldn't even bother, but his comment was so completely confused, I thought it best to set things straight. (Just common sense)
