Cops Kill Innocent Person --Again

In Atlanta, the cops burst into the wrong house, which was occupied by a "nice old grandmother" who had a gun to protect herself against neighborhood thugs [She had a permit. -RT]. What she didn't know is the "thugs" breaking into her house [They weren't in uniform. -RT] were the cops, and she "opened up" on them. So they shot her to death "like a dog," according to her niece. Never mind they were in the wrong house. If ANYBODY "opens up" on the cops, they'll KILL them, and they did. This is not an uncommon occurrence. Recently in Denver, Colorado, they broke into the wrong house and killed Ismael Mena, an old man they CLAIM had a gun and was firing at them. Only problem is, he was asleep, and was shot through his bedroom door. Also, ALL the bullet holes in the door and the wall next to it were fired INWARD. But no one can prove that because the door and that section of wall have mysteriously disappeared. In addition, the last two shots in this man were fired DOWNWARD through his body, into the floor. The gun they SAY he had was untraceable and looks suspiciously like the "throwdown" guns many cops carry in case of a "wrong shooting" to make IAD think it was a "good" shooting. No info on whether or not the gun had actually been fired. But then, the same cops are in charge of the evidence, aren't they? Then there was the sick old man in a second-floor bedroom of a house they were entering to arrest someone else. A cop came up a ladder and entered the room via a window, shooting and killing the man, who was holding a pop can. "LEBANON, Tenn. (AP) -- A 61-year-old man was shot to death by police while his wife was handcuffed in another room during a drug raid on the wrong house. " I'm not a "cop-hater." There are many good, dedicated cops out there doing a hard, thankless job. Unfortunately, there are also cops like these out there who are committing murder under the cover of law. Yes, mistakes are made. But there are far too many such mistakes being made and innocent people, not the cops involved, are paying the price. (Toronto Star,)
