Mallard Fillmore
One thing I’ve always liked about Bruce Tinsley is his ability to
come up with a comic that put everybody in their place. That’s why
I was instrumental in getting his comic returned to the Denver
Post
after they canceled it because it was “too political.” Actually,
if it had been political on the liberal side, it wouldn’t have been
a problem for them. But that aside, they did return it to the newspaper,
though it was then placed on the editorial pages. Today’s strip
puts the “racism” thing in its place by saying, “President
Trump giving Elvis the Medal of Freedom is being called racist,
leaving
armadillos and Port-Wine Cheese Balls as the only things left that
haven’t been called racist.” Even that may not last long, as
liberals everywhere search for things to be called racist. (Mallard Fillmore)
