No Imagination

A Democrat (New York Magazine Editor John Heilemann) was interviewed on a liberal television show the other day and the interviewer (Charlie Rose) asked a really stupid question: “Why are Republicans so bent on defeating Obama?” It’s stupid because the REAL answer is obvious: they‘re REPUBLICANS! They disagree on almost everything he does and see it as a real danger! But this ignorant liberal gives an equally stupid answer. It was quite complicated (politicians have a built-in inability to give short answers to anything) but it boiled down to one word: RACISM. He couldn’t think of ANYTHING else to account for it: not the FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS Obama has spent on his silly ideas on “green energy” (Actually his way of "paying off" his supporters). Not his actions to make unemployment worse. Not his hard work to move us ever closer to that dishonest and unworkable system, socialism. Not his incompetence in office or his hourly LIES on almost every subject. I just wonder what this liberal has been SMOKING. Is he STUPID? Or is he just as incompetent as Obama? What about Rose, who asked such a stupid question? What planet has he been living on for the last three years and more?

Why are we plagued with such incompetent and stupid people in pivotal positions? How do such people GET there? The answer to that is that when those appointing them are incompetent, incompetence then becomes a condition for employment. That begs the question: which came first, the chicken or the egg? I don’t know; I only know we’re suffering form the ignorance and incompetence of our “leaders.”  What I DO know is that color has NOTHING to do with even DEMOCRATS moving away from Obama in droves. The only person who may REALLY believe it cannot be anything but racism is Obama himself; who is just as much white as black, but CHOOSES to emphasize his black side, so he can take advantage of it.
