It's Starting, Folks

IT’S STARTING, FOLKS: They’re using the excuse that certain web sites are “infringing on copyrights” so they’re shutting them down. No charges, no trials, no proof of ANYTHING, except for the DEFINITION, by the government as to what “copyright infringement” IS. No "legal process," no opportunity for the owners to show they're wrong and are infringing on their First Amendment rights. (They'll say it is "administrative," so they don't have to obey the Constitution). Watch for it to “metastasize,” as do most government intrusions into our lives.

They start small, then grow, and grow, until they DOMINATE. Then they demand you BUY a “license” in order to HAVE a web site, of any kind. The FCC is already readying a “rule change” to TAKE OVER the Internet (for the good of the nation,” of course). They’re slowly drawing the noose tighter and tighter. Soon they’ll be insisting we call all government agents “comrade” or something else just as stupid. It won’t be long before they shut ME down for “insulting the government.” (The Hill)

They are infringing upon our freedoms in many, many ways, like Obama Care which mandates I HAVE to buy insurance or be fined heavily. This is unconstitutional in the extreem. If they get this mandate included there will be no end to government control of my life.

From AHIP:

"Requiring people to carry insurance takes away an individual's freedom of choice, he [the judge] said, agreeing with the judge's decision to strike down that provision of the law.

"According to the judge, this dispute is about an individual's right to choose to participate," Herrick said. "One reason why individual choice is important is that the health insurance policies individuals will be required to purchase are saddled with mandated benefits and mandated providers that drive up the cost of coverage."

"Moreover, the cost of this mandated health coverage will grow at twice rate of the nation's income. It doesn't make sense to require individuals to purchase a product they cannot afford and fine them when they fail to purchase it," he said.

There is a lot included in this insurance that I will never need, like coverage for drug treatment for addicts (Methadone). I will be paying for the treatment of addicts. I can tell you I will NOT be able to afford this insurance they want to force on me, and the heavy "fine" (punishment/duress) will prevent me buying insurance anywhere else. I think people should have insurance, but it is our CHOICE to do so - - or NOT to do so.

I heard a quick sound bite on the radio as I was rising this morning (12/14/10). There is a new mandate pushed by Michelle about feeding breakfast, lunch and dinner to kids AT SCHOOL. Naturally, I have to pay for it. Schools were never intended to feed the kids. They are charged with educating them.

Michelle, who runs her fat, arrogant mouth before even thinking and shows clearly who she really is, said, "We can't leave this [the feeding or our children] to parents!"

EXCUSE ME????? Who the hell is SHE to determine our capabilities as parents??? She thinks her's doesn't stink!

Michelle has her own kids to look after without thinking she can tell us what to do or not do with our own kids. Michelle and Barrakk are a real set! BOTH are astonishingly arrogant!

The is THE worst pair we have ever had in the White House!

Anon: Yes, we CAN "just leave it to the parents." It is their right, not the right of the president's big-mouthed wife to do. the measure to force people to buy health insurance has been declared unconstitutional and will take it to the supreme court, though you can expect that arrogant jerk in the White House to come up with an excuse to ignore the court's judgment.

Correction:

Sorry for the typo.

Indeed. We can take care of our own children just fine with out Ms. Fat Mouth.

I fear that Obama Care will go forward, regardless of what the American people think. He will find some slick, sidewinder way to get it through.
