One Defeat After Another

Obama’s party has lost now in three elections, including the one in which a conservative Republican beat their handpicked Democrat in a “Democrat safe state.” Now even his decision to keep Ben Bernanke on as Fed Chairman is in danger. Everybody thought that, at least, was a “safe decision,” but it apparently is not (it may survive, but not without argument). I think his party is going to lose a lot more seats in Congress in this year’s election, completely destroying the 60-seat majority in the Senate he thought would allow him and his henchmen to rape this country easily. A majority that began to disintegrate with the election of a Republican to “Teddy Kennedy’s (unlosable) seat in the Senate. I hope the losses continue until he loses to Sarah Palin in 2012.
