Capitalism vs. Socialism

Rush did an item on his web site about capitalism vs. socialism, and it was "right on. He talked about putting two groups on an island; one capitalists, the other socialists, and see who would survive. They did that when they started the American Colonies. They sent a bunch of people to these shores with a plan giving each person a plot of land to work. Each one got a "share" of the proceeds, as the lazy ones figured out they would get the same as those who actually did all the work. There was a very small amount of produce, not nearly enough to support the colony. So a bunch of them, including the governor's wife, starved to death. So the governor changed things. They still all got a plot of land, but only got paid for what they PRODUCED. Profits immediately rose significantly, since more was produced. The colony not only survived, it PROSPERED. It learned a lesson socialists will NEVER learn: socialism NEVER works as long as the lazy can get paid the same, whether or not they work. From that, they built a nation that has outstripped, in less than 300 years, other nations that have been around for thousands of years, and had become the "destination of choice" for those who want to better themselves.. Going On Offense

Donald Trump has signaled the fact that he is fully in favor of gun rights. So the pro-gun people are "going on the offense" in their efforts to combat the forces wishing to eliminate that constitutional right. One of their first targets is "no gun zones." These zones not only do NOTHING to limit gun violence, they PROMOTE it by keeping law-abiding people DISARMED in the face of the illegal guns already in existence, in the hands of people who wish us ill, and don't care about their foolish laws. Even the "bad guys" admit that they SEEK OUT gun free zones in which to do their shooting. They're also going to work on easing requirements for passing background checks, and making sure concealed carry is recognized from state to state and would be treated the same way as driver's licenses. It's a known fact that the major enemy of the right to self defense and to be armed, in order to accomplish it, are the Democrats, and you can expect stiff opposition to the efforts of Republicans to retain that right. Backgound Checks, No School Shootings

That's what the anti-gun fools are saying, after a "study" provided by an outfit I will not name, because I don't have enough computer memory to do so becaue its name is so long. Even those involved with the study say they need much more information to confirm the announced "findings," But the anti-gun fools publish the "results" as if they were gospel. That's how they twist the facts to suit themselves. The researchers say this shows a "correlation," not a "causational relationship." What that means is background checks don't CAUSE a lack of school shootings, there is just a "correlation" between background checks and school shootings, which are defined as “an incident when a firearm was discharged inside a school building or on a school campus or grounds.” And they admit that there may have been more such shootings, not reported because nobody died. They also say that "these findings are PRELIMINARY and should not be considered definitive." But not to the anti-gun fools. They treat them as definitive, and release them as final. (LA Times)

Attacking the Electoral College

The Democrats have no shame! In their efforts to "overturn" the election results, they are attacking the very FOUNDATIONS of our republican form of government--the Electoral College. Not the College, itself, but the electors, who have had death threats if they voted for Trump. They're now saying that 20 electors will refuse to vote for Trump, maybe sending it to the House. The Electoral College is how we've elected presidents from the very beginning, and why SOME states do not REQUIRE electors to vote the way their state went is a very big mistake, and "paves the way" for a "bloodless (we hope) coup in electing a president. If this election goes to the House and Trump is not confirmed, it will have BEEN a "coup." He won, fair and square, according to our laws. And if the Electoral College takes it way from him, it will be THEFT of the highest office in the land, perpetrated by Democrats, to retain their power. (Syracuse Media Group)

Obama's Extravagant Vacations

Barack Obama (and his wife) have probably taken more vacations than any president in the history of this country. They have certainly spent more MONEY than any of them. What makes them think they can take so many vacations at our expense? Because they're "better than us," and are "entitled," of course. Michelle takes over entire floors of hotels wherever she goes. she claims it's because she has such a large staff. But does she NEED this large a staff with her? Probably not. She's only the "First Lady." She's NOT an "important government employee," as is her husband. He SAYS he reimburses us for the expense. And he may even do so. Paying the hotel bills himself. But what about the hundreds of thousands of dollars spent for his (and her) "security?" Expenses for which we are NOT "reimbursed." In any case, i haven't seen any PROOF he reimbursed ANYTHING. We have only his word, and you know how much that means. (The Patriot Post)

Radical Agenda?

The anti-gun fools say that NRA is pushing an "increasingly radial agenda." Radical to WHOM? If they think it's radical, NRA must be doing something right. It's not radical to support retaining our constitutional right to be armed in self defense, anti-gun fools notwithstanding. They're using an anomaly about an ACCIDENTAL shooting at a gun show to "knock" gun shows, everywhere. Yes, a vendor DID accidentally shoot somebody (Not seriously) while demonstrating a gun. But that sort of thing is NOT common, as anti-gun fools allege. In fact, it's more likely to happen when an anti-gun fool tries to be "hip" while holding a gun with his finger on the trigger in a crowded room, as Sen. Feinstein (a BIG anti-gun fool) once did at an anti-gun meeting, while everybody there cringed, fearing for their lives, as this untrained fool endangered them all. Everything this idiot writer calls "radical" is common sense. But this writer isn't intelligent enough to know it. This writer says the "gun lobby" has "marginalized itself." In actuality, it is the ANTI-gun lobby that IS "marginal." But they aren't smart enough to know it. (Athens Banner Herald)

"Global Warming Denier"

That's me. That's what global warming swindlers and many of their dupes call those who don't believe the claptrap put out by AlGore and his accomplices. I am a "denier" because I flat don't believe it; it's horse manure. They call us that as an insult, wanting to intimate that to deny global warming (and it's successor, "climate change") is, somehow a crime. They don't have anything else. Global warming has been proven false so many times, and in so many ways, it's ridiculous to be a "believer." It takes a certain kind of stupid to believe that crap. So my message to them is, "There; I said it; come and get me!" We'll discuss it in court. Global warming is more of a RELIGION these days, than anything else. They used to call people who denied the prevailing religion, "heretics." This is the same thing for global warming. The basic way it has been disproved is that the "globe" has NOT been "warming" for almost 20 years, now. They can't answer such facts and maintain their belief in their "religion," so they CONDEMN anybody who is NOT a "believer." Now they even want to get laws made to make denying global warming a punishable crime, notwithstanding the First Amendment. If I didn't know it, I wouldn't believe there are that many abysmally stupid people in the world. (Just common sense)

Anti-Gun Hysteria

In opposition to common sense, anti-gun fools think if you carry a gun, you'll be more likely to shoot yourself than a "bad guy." Of course, this is not backed up by scientific knowledge, but they swear by it as if it were. They think a guy WITHOUT a gun can defend himself against a gun-wielding thug by throwing a laptop computer at him. Even a soldier giving a talk about how soldiers can defend themselves in civilian life thinks that, while HE carries a gun off-base, all the time, and wouldn't be without it. That shows that, not even he believes that claptrap he seems FORCED to spread. REAL science shows that people who are armed are safer than those who are not, in spite of what is taught by anti-gun fools, who, in actuality, know NOTHING about guns, and their use. They only think what they're taught by other anti-gun fools. (National Review)

END Gun-Free Zones

That's what Donald Trump needs to do, and what he has PROMISED to do. Gun-free zones serve NO useful purpose. What they do is create spaces where would-be shooters can be pretty sure there won't be anybody there to oppose them when they bring their guns in to kill people. EVERY mass shooting so far has been in a "gun-free zone." But will the anti-gun fools see sweet reason and get rid of them? Not a chance. They aren't intelligent enough. The very fact that they think they can eliminate guns from America with a law shows their ignorance. That, and the fact that they will not hear of the common sense solutions to gun violence, like allowing their potential victims to be armed in self defense. Electoral College Failure

It has come to my attention that SOME electors in the Electoral College are NOT required to vote for the candidate who won their state. That is a MISTAKE. If enough electors vote for others, maybe even the winning candidate's opponent, it will DEFY the will of the people and make the election a SHAM, allowing a select few men (or women) to "select" a president. It will be a (hopefully) "bloodless coup," and will be a travesty of major proportions. It needs to be changed, forthwith, and not for the NEXT election, for THIS one. The Democrats are trying very hard to subvert the will of the people, and they need to be STOPPED. This election is the most important one in years, with liberal or conservative control of the Supreme Court for many years at stake. (Just common sense)

Gun Hater As DNC Chair

Will the Democrats appoint a gun-hater as DNC chair? Why not? Gun hatred is one of the basic points in their platform, and always has been. Kieth Ellison has been mentioned prominently as a prospect, and he not only wants to do away with guns, he wants to do away with the Second Amendment, too. And he is a "militant Muslim" with ties to the Islamic terrorists. His thinking is entirely opposed to that of the "average American," as with most Muslims, who are taught that there is ONE SOURCE for them to place their trust in first, and that's Allah. Any oath they take otherwise is a SHAM, and meant only to fool us into thinking they don't think that way. Ellison has taken the oath to become a member of Congress, but he meant not a word of it. If he did, that would be "anti-Muslim," and he is anything but that. It's an "article of faith" with them. He must have lied a lot to even get elected to that office. Trying to keep Muslims out of our government is not bigotry, it's COMMON SENSE. Their very THINKING is against everything that represents our way of life. Incompetent Bureaucrats

Former NSA Director Michael Hayden says gun control "might be" part of defending against Islamic terrorists (my paraphrasing of his words). I'm certainly glad this fool is a FORMER NSA director, with fool notions like that. How DISARMING the population, in any way, defends against terrorism, defies common sense. But that's his opinion. He really thinks Islamic terrorists buy guns LEGALLY and will thus be prevented from getting guns when they come here to kill unbelievers. He thinks they don't already have connections to get their guns ILLEGALLY when they get here, set up by terrorists who are already here. These are the kinds of people who will get us killed, if they are allowed to "govern" using their INCOMPETENT opinions. (Breitbart)

It Ain't Always Murder

Anti-gun fools (in Indianapolis, at least) are including self-defense shootings and suicides in the "gun violence" rates cited. This is so typical of the way they twist real facts to promote their efforts to deny Americans their constitutional right to bear arms in self defense. They cite raw figures and claim that they're all murder, when some are really self-defense shootings or simply suicides. There are many other ways in which they twist facts to suit their narrative. You can't depend on ANY of their figures because truth means nothing to them. They CAN'T tell the truth, or they wouldn't have a movement. They tell you that a majority of Americans now favor gun control, when they DON'T. They sponsor phony "studies" that are supposed to prove their narrative when, if you look at the methodology, they don't. They have many "tricks" in their book, but that's ALL they have. Their entire movement is based on a fallacy: that it is possible to eliminate guns from the country--it is NOT. Even in the unlikely event they COULD, and DID eliminate all LEGAL guns in America, the criminals, crazies, and Islamic terrorists would just come in and kill more people with their ILLEGAL guns that they still seem able to get, no matter what. Common Sense Sets In

Students on the Ohio State University (OSU) campus are now demanding the right to be armed, to defend themselves against people like that fool who started stabbing people, right and left, until a "good guy with a gun" came along and killed him. Those fools who hate guns immediately started their whining to further disarm people after that happened. They're obviously not too bright, if they're using a KNIFE attack to promote their campaign to take away our constitutional right to self defense, and to own and carry a gun, which is merely a TOOL with which to accomplish it. They want to make us DEFENSELESS against such attacks. They couch it in pretty-sounding terms, wanting us to believe it's the GUN that's at fault. This knife-wielding fool who attacked there proves otherwise. Obviously, he couldn't get a gun, so he used a knife. Which is what would happen in the unlikely event the anti-gun fools were successful in eliminating ALL legal guns from the world. Malevolent people would either get their guns ILLEGALLY, or use other "instruments of death" like knives, clubs, or even their bare hands. Eliminating guns is an "impossible dream," but you'll never convince the ignorant souls who want to disarm us. They just don't have the mental capacity to understand. (DC Clothesline)

Tjhe Global Warming Swindle

AlGore started it, and it made him a billionaire. He even started his own cable TV outlet financed by his global warming swindle, which he sold to the Arabs for another few $billion. Now Obama has taken it up, and has also profited handsomely. Phony EPA "regulations" have cost individuals $3,080.00 per person. How much of that goes into Obama's pocket is anybody's guess. But I'd "bet the farm" that he is using it to his personal advantage. He knows his time as president is short, and I'd bet he has it set up to profit from it. There's no other reason for him to take it up. He KNOWS global warming is phony scam, if he's in any way intelligent--and he IS intelligent, even if he does stupid things. Fighting A Losing Battle

Former NYC mayor Bloomberg has spent MILLIONS to take away our constitutionally guaranteed right to own and use guns for self defense, or for whatever other legal purpose we deem necessary, and has little to show for it. He has filed many suits in his quest, and has lost most of them. He has supported anti-gun laws all over, and lost most of those fights, too. Lately, he has had two campaigns about background checks going. He won one by a VERY narrow margin by outspending his opponents by a six to one margin (Maine) and lost the other (Nevada) by outspending his opponents by a margin of THREE to one, which didn't do him much good, after spending $20 million in his quest. Maybe one day he'll begin to understand that his quest is an impossible one, because most of America is against it. But I doubt it. He'll probably go to his grave still fighting to violate our constitutional rights. (Philadelphia Inquirer)

Alleging "Fake News"

The liberals have announced a "crackdown" on what they call "fake news." I don't know how they can do that, in a free society with a First Amendment that guarantees freedom of speech and the right to speak without fear of government intervention. But you can bet they'll find a way to at least SUGGEST that ALL stories they don't like are "fake news," while they, themselves, dispense REAL fake news They'd better be careful. If they set up a system for "prosecuting" fake news, they could become the victim of their own perfidy since they dispense fake news daily, and if somebody has the guts to go after them for it. They will have to be able to PROVE it is fake news if the defense has any guts, at all. One of the primary dispensers of fake news is Obama, himself. He comes out daily with it, and DARES anybody to question it. If they do, he calls them racists. One obvious example of this is his claim that unemployment is only 4.7% while almost 100 MILLION souls are out of work with no prospects of ever finding a job again, and are thus no longer counted when unemployment figures are tallied. That is how he is able to come up with such an outrageous figure. Another example is his claim that the economy is "going great guns" when everybody knows better, from personal experience. NSSF Fightng An Impossible Law

"Microstamping" shells is impossible. At least, so far. There is no technology yet to do it, effectively. You can "get around it" with a nail file. But California requires it, by law, in order to sell ammunition in their state. They know it's impossible. I know it's impossible, and YOU know it's impossible. But California still insists on "enforcing" an unenforceable law. The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) and the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturing Institute (puff, puff!) (SAAMI) have a suit running to ban enforcement of this short-sighted and impossible to enforce law, which was "thrown out of court" some time ago, But it has now been reinstated, to the consternation of California "authorities." Apparently, they want to continue to be able to harass and impede ammunition sellers in their state. But they've lost--so far, and ammunition makers are going to make the most of it. "Trace" Begging for Money

"The Trace" is an anti-gun fool bunch supported by Mike Bloomberg, pretending to be a REAL "news source." But, it seems, most of their articles harp against our constitutional right to own and use a gun for self defense. But it looks like Bloomberg isn't giving them enough money because they're now begging for more, from their "readers." They say the media works against their efforts, trying to make people think our efforts are somehow "sinister." But the real "sinister" workings come from Trace. They say they want to make sure Americans get the TRUTH about "gun control," but what they do militates AGAINST Americans getting the TRUTH about gun control. What they don't tell you is that the liberal media is ALL IN for gun control. The gun control crowd would have gotten NOWHERE without the millions Bloomberg has pumped into their coffers. He supports MOST of the anti-gun fools out there. So essentially, the entire "anti-gun lobby" is a "one-man operation." (Truth About Guns)
