Taxing It Won't Work

In California, they’re considering putting on a special tax on guns and ammunition. They don’t know that taxing it won’t work, either. Although it will bring millions of dollars into the California state coffers—which, I’m convinced, it their only purpose. None. Not a single one of their anti-gun laws has done a single thing to limit, or stop “gun violence,” so now they’’re going on a different, completely predictable direction. “If you can’t stop it, tax it.” Can anybody tell me how much effect a tax on LEGAL guns and ammunition will have on the purchase and use of ILLEGAL guns in California? Not a bit. And that’s predictable. They know it won’t, but they’re satisfied to use “gun violence” to put money in their pockets. And if you believe some of the money collected through this tax will not end up in then pockets of some of those ignorant politicians, I’ve got a bridge in Brooklyn I want to sell you. “Gun Violence,” like global warming/climate change has put a lot of money in the pockets of the swindlers promoting it. It’s all a scam to pick your pockets with taxes. (Heartland Institute)

Abuses of Power

Politicians all over are using this Coronavirus panic to abuse their power. Many are making edicts that fly in the face of the Constitution, claiming that the panic makes it necessary. One example is in Washington state, where Gov Inslee is reopening restaurants, but requiring that customers give the restaurants more information than they’re entitled to, which can be accessed by agents of the governor. How the hell that does ANYTHING to mitigate the virus is beyond me. In order to remain open, restaurants must also meet a dozen other requirements including operating at 50% capacity or below, and seating no more than five guests at each table, according to Inslee’s office. Such information is none of the governor’s business. The government in liberal Washington State has already, before the virus, stuck its uninformed nose in business by forcing them to pay workers not worth more than $7 and hour $15.00 and hour, which cuts severely into their profit picture and threatens their very existence—and that’s without this further interference. Politicians have seized on this virus as an opportunity to place all kinds of new “rules and regulations” on us, which will last long after the virus has been conquered. (American Thinker)

Sexual Misconduct Accusations

I’m beginning to believe there isn’t a politician in DC or anywhere else who hasn’t been accused of sexual misconduct at one time or another. Accusations of sexual misconduct seem to be the most popular thing to do to smear your opponent because nobody seems to want to find any proof. They are just accepted, and the victims are forever tainted by them, proven or not. Former VP Biden has been accused, and there seems to be more proof there than with others. But Fox News commentator Chris Wallace recently noted that Trump had also had some accusations, not mentioning they were sans proof. It almost seems like every day somebody is accused of sexual impropriety. And I don’t think many men in important positions are going to risk it all by an overt sexual move when they know how easy it is to smear people with such accusations. Women know proof is usually not required to smear their intended victim and many women use the threat of such accusations as a weapon. Others simply make the accusation because the guy made them mad, somehow. It’s an easy way to get back at a guy who made them mad. (Just common sense)

Abysmally Ignorant Politicians

That’s the only way I can describe the politicians who bite on the bull droppings fed them by the anti-gun fools who think “controlling gun violence” is as simple as making laws that ban or hinder people from getting and/or using guns in self defense against the millions of ILLEGAL guns out there in the hands of the “bad guys.” There is plenty of history to prove that NONE of their laws do a damned thing to limit, or “stop gun violence,” but they keep making them, and celebrating the fact that they have been made, as if they will do anything about “the problem.” They just can’t seem to get it through their thick skulls that all their laws are USELESS to accomplish their goals. Not as long as they concentrate on eliminating legal guns from society. Their laws do nothing except make it easier for he law breakers to victimize the law-abiding, who DO obey their laws, while the law breakers do NOT. They’re law breakers, after all. It’s predictable. "No Scandals Administration"

Barack Obama must think we’re as stupid as he is if he expects us to actually believe that his administration was “scandal-free.” I can detail at least 18 scandals in his administration. Just a few are” “slow-walking” conservative organizations for tax-free status—something for which at least one IRS fool lost her job, (although her lavish pension will keep her living comfortably for the rest of her life); then there’s Benghazi, where people died; the Bowe Bergdahl scandal; the Veteran’s Administration “death list” scandal; $500 million lost to Solyndra, and many others, way too numerous to mention here. I don’t think I’ve got enough computer memory to list all of them. Barack Obama was one of the worst presidents we have had in memory, surpassing Jimmy Carter and his “Misery Index” many times. And he stands up there and tells that enormous whopper—and actually expects us to believe it. Obama was also one of the worst LIARS in memory. If it comes out of his mouth or off his pen it MUST be a lie. With what he has done, it’s hard to believe he isn’t in prison. Ex-presidents are NOT above the law. Dumocrats themselves have said so often enough about Republicans. (Just common sense)

Irrationa Response

Recently, a gunman started out on a shooting spree in a Fort Worth church. He thought he had it all his own way as he opened fire on the congregation. But he didn’t reckon on an armed worshiper, who instantly put a stop to his plans by killing him with one controlled shot, seconds after he opened fire. That one shot, from an “average citizen,” stopped what could have been yet another massacre. So the local “officials” moved quickly to make sure it wouldn’t happen again. Not the would-be killer, but the defense to that killer, by banning legal guns in churches, state-wide. How irrational is that? Making people defenseless against law-breakers with their illegally-owned guns is absolutely irrational. But that seems to be the “knee-jerk” reaction by the anti-gun fools. Which is why I call them fools. Making people defenseless is NOT the way to self defense. Allowing them their own guns to use in self defense IS. But those self-same anti-gun fools, who CLAIM to be “experts,” won’t hear of it, while many people DIE because of their silly notions. You can’t pry them loose from their idiocies, no matter how much you try. And they worm their way into positions where that can make such laws, or influence the making of such laws, while people die of their stupidity. (Gun Watch)

Tipping Their Hand

HR8 destroys ANY transfer of ownership of a gun without the knowledge and APPROVAL of the government. It criminalizes private sales, giving a gun to someone, even LOANING a gun to someone without their knowledge and approval. Nancy Peelosi says a future Dumocrat president could declare a national emergency over “gun crime,” and “Pocahontas” piled on, saying when she’s president (a real long shot, that) she would definitely declare a national emergency about “gun crime. Another good reason NOT to vote for her, to add to the plethora of other reasons. Currently, the law has a “safety valve” in the fact that if the government doesn’t act on a background check in three days, a dealer is free to complete the sale. HR1112 kills that. Which means a president could declare a national emergency and SHUT DOWN the NICS checks for any amount of time, which would stop ALL gun sales in that time. And he or she could do it over and over again, making it almost impossible for anybody but the government to buy a gun, for any reason. Of course most privately-owned gun stores could not survive even three months without a sales, which would CRIPPLE the gun sales industry—which is their goal. If you can’t just ban guns, just make them impossible to get—legally. Of course, this will just give the ILLEGAL gun sales business a “shot in the arm,” but they don’t talk about that. The only problem with their plan is that ANY law that limits gun purchases is an “infringement” on a constitutional right, which is PROHIBITED by the Constitution, to which ALL LAWS must conform. Trump Won't Leave?

Long time “journalist” Ted Koppel says that Trump won’t leave office if he is not re-elected. What a stupid thing to say! Any office holder who loses his re-election and refuses to leave office will be dragged out in chains by a U. S. Marshal and put in prison. But I digress. That’s what they say about every president. They said it about Bush. And Clinton, and Obama. And when the time came, each one packed up his belongings (Clinton a little more than his belongings) and went on he is way after welcoming the new president. What people like Koppel do not consider is that there are laws to handle things like that, and a president who refuses to leave office is violating them. And he or she WILL be removed, bodily, if necessary. And the Secret Service will not side with him. They will stand aside and let it happen because they know the law. People like Koppel are fools if they think otherwise, and are just trying to “whip up” negative sentiment. (Right Wing Tribune)

Here We Go Again

A known violent man who was "officially banned" from owning and/or using a gun because he was a felon got a gun anyway. then he murdered his wife and went on a killing spree that terrorized a small North California town, until the "good guys with guns" came and killed him. When will the anti-gun FOOLS begin to realize that their silly, USELESS gun laws do NOTHING to stop such malcontents from getting guns, with which to shoot and kill innocent people? Yet they keep making them, and they use such instances as this one to fuel their further calls for more useless "gun laws." They are already calling for the .50 cal. rifle to be banned, and some fool wants to ban the gun used in Texas to stop a similar "killing spree." What kind of reasoning they use for that, is beyond my comprehension, since without this gun being legal, the death toll would have been much higher. I just think these fools HAVE no reasoning ability, and many liberals claim there IS no such thing as reason and logic. such stupidity abounds among liberals and other anti-gun fools. Mexico Murder 5 Times Higher

Mexico doesn’t have a Second Amendment. Which means the only way to get a gun if you don’t work for the government, or don’t have “political pull,” is to get it ILLEGALLY. According to the anti-gun fools, they should have a crime-free society, right? WRONG! Mexico’s murder rate alone is FIVE TIMES that of the United States. If you were intelligent, that would tell you something. But the anti-gun fools apparently aren’t too bright, because they either don’t notice, or they deny the fact that it is an important thing. Mexico, like most backward countries, has very tight anti-gun laws, way ahead of those in America. But predictably, they do NOTHING to stop, or even slow down “gun violence,” and only make it easier for those with illegal guns to victimize the law-abiding. I get very tired of pointing this out to the anti-gun fools, while they go on, in their “blissful ignorance,” making more and more USELESS LAWS that do NOTHING to stop “gun violence,” just like in Mexico. Trump Was Wrong

I’m an unabashed Trump supporter. Almost everything he does further convinces me that he is the man to actually “drain the swamp,” as he has promised. But closing down the American economy in the face of the Coronavirus it the exact wrong move and should be reversed, as soon as possible, with the proper safeguards being put in place to avoid as many deaths as possible. You don’t have to “shut your doors” to avoid getting the virus, you just have to be careful, wash your hands regularly, and use a lot of disinfectant—while staying away from people you don’t know, especially those not wearing masks. Shutting us down is wrong because that will ruin us quicker than the virus will. We must have commerce to survive in this world. It’s like hiding from s mass shooter, hoping he won’t see you while not taking the gun your hand to end his reign of terror. It’s a matter of the cure being worse than the illness. Trump is on top of most things, but in this case he acted in panic, and I think he has realized it—which is why he’s talking so much about “opening America back up.”Trump is “smarter than the average bear” and when he’s wrong, he “fesses up” and puts things right, which I think he’s trying to do right now. Gun Siezures Spike

Anti-gun fools are “concerned” about mass shootings. So what do they do? They seize as many legally-held guns as they can, completely ignoring the millions of ILLEGAL guns there are out there. That this makes it easier for a potential mass killer to “do his work,” doesn’t seem to occur to them. They think taking legal guns away from people will solve their problem. WRONG! It just makes it worse. It leaves the field wide open for the would-be mass shooters. One of the sure solutions to this problem is to ALLOW teachers that already have concealed carry permits to bring their guns to school, but they dismiss that, out of hand. Maybe we need to get some people who have some common sense into the ranks of the anti-gun fools, because they don’t seem to have any. All they seem to want to do is take away any possibility of people being able to defend themselves from such shooters, who all have their guns, anyway. The way to self defense is NOT to make yourself DEFENSELESS against a threat. But they just can’t seem to understand that. They just want to continue to do the same things that don’t work, over and over again, and demonize those who realize they’re useless and oppose them. (Washington Examiner)

The Evidence Mounts

Gun laws don’t work. It keeps piling up, yet the anti-gun fools routinely ignore it and go right on making their stupid, useless, anti-gun laws they have to know are unconstitutional on their face, and do not work. Strongarm thugs attack what they consider to be “easy targets” like the 79-year-old woman in Atlanta, who successfully held off a 20-year-old criminal until the cops finally got there and “saved him” from this little woman with her big gun. He ran from his original entry point after the first time she shot at him (she purposely missed, sine she didn’t want to kill him), and went to the second floor, ransacking as he went. Apparently he was too stupid to understand the fact that she was on the phone to the cops even as he dodged her bullets, because he stayed and did some more ransacking. Then finally, it must have dawned on him that this woman was dangerous, and he hid in an upstairs closet, where the cops finally found him, cowering in fear of this small, old lady with a big gun—at least, big to him. His sis says he was “off his meds,” which probably accounts for his stupidity in staying there while he must have known the cops were coming. But this points up—again--the fact that a gun in the hand of a law-abiding person can make all the difference. Without it, this lady might now be dead. But, as usual, they’re not listening. "Gun-Free Great Btitain"

In England, they have an almost “gun-free country.” Having no such thing as a Second Amendment, their anti-gun laws are so complete that it’s almost impossible for a private citizen to own or carry a gun, while almost ALL “government agents” in one way or another are armed—except for a few gullible cops who go out among illegally-armed criminals and try to enforce the law upon them while not being armed, themselves. Crime should be non-existent, according to the anti-gun fools—right? Why then, were there 10,000 “gun crimes” committed in one year recently? How did that happen when owning and using guns is illegal for British citizens? Do you mean some people don’t OBEY those laws? Horrors! Whodathunkit? I guess the “British Gun Experience” is even more proof that banning guns just doesn’t work, right? So why do anti-gun fools keep making those laws? Because they’re stupid, that’s why. All the anti-gun laws accomplish is making it easier for those with ILLEGAL guns to be able to victimize the law-abiding, who DO obey those laws, even if they know they’re stupid. Can't Win for Losing

President Trump is really “up against it” these days. He’s fighting a deadly pandemic and one of the defenses against that is to ask people to stay home. But that means all commerce is ended until people can go back to work and do their jobs—which is not sustainable. We can’t continue to operate without people to do the available jobs because they’re afraid of getting the virus. We MUST “Reopen the economy,” or we will die. Trump has signaled that he wants to do so and many of his critics are panning him for that, as if what he wants to do is get people killed. No, he doesn’t. He, unlike his critics, knows that if the economy remains closed much longer, people are going to die from that. So he wants to institute a “safe reopening.” Where people can go to work while maintaining their defenses against the virus. That’s only common sense. But many of his critics will criticize anything he does. If he keeps things closed, they will pan that. If he opens things up, they will criticize him for that. He just can’t win. If he opens things up and one person dies because of it, they’ll criticize him. If he doesn’t, and somebody dies because of it, they’ll criticize that. (Just common sense)

Gun Control Fools

What the hell is WITH them? Anti-gun fools spend all their time trying to come up with more and better ways to take away a cherished constitutional right; the right to be armed for self defense. What drives these people is unknown. It can’t be “gun safety” because there isn’t a single one of their highly touted laws and regulations that does ANYTHING to limit gun violence. They have to know that, but they keep making them, anyway, and gun violence continues, unabated. The only thing I can think of is that they simply want to be able to tell us what we can or can’t do. Everything Dumocrats do is geared toward telling us what we can, or cannot do, and this is just one area. If they ever came up with something that would actually WORK, I’d be right there beside them, working to get it passed. But that is not going to happen because, as long as they concentrate on the gun, there is nothing that will ever work to reduce gun violence. They need to concentrate on preventing people from WANTING to do violence with a gun, not banning guns. Bad guys will ALWAYS get their guns, no matter how many laws are passed to control gun ownership and use for the LAW-ABIDING, that never do anything to limit gun ownership and use for law BREAKERS. And that’s the weakness in all they do. (Just common sense)

Media Inciting Panic

Why is the media working so hard to frighten us because of this pandemic? They never did it with the flu pandemics of yore, and they killed more people than this one has, or will. You can’t turn on your TV without the word “pandemic” or “Coronavirus” appearing on the screen. It’s like there is no other news in the world except the virus. They talk about it incessantly in terms of the “thousands of deaths” instead of noting that the number of deaths PER CAPITA is much LOWER than with previous flu epidemics and pandemics. Yes, this virus is easy to catch, and it CAN kill you, if you have underlying illnesses is can make worse. But the FACT is, it is NOT WORSE than previous flu pandemics, which most people hardly noticed. Yes, people are dying. But at a smaller rate than with the flu. Which means there’s some reason for the media to “beat this dead horse, allowing many politicians to use it as a means to take away many of our rights and threaten others. Just one right they’re trying to take away is our constitutionally guaranteed right to be armed for self defense. Under what reasoning, I don’t know. But anti-gun fools HAVE no reasoning ability, or they wouldn’t be pushing useless, unenforceable laws. (American Thinker)

Typical Anti-Gun Hypocrisy

Hollywood is consistently against allowing the “average American” (which does not include them, of course) to have guns to use in defending themselves against the millions of ILLEGAL guns out there in the hands of law-breakers. Meanwhile, they employ ARMED security and utilize armed cops to protect themselves. Yes, most of them don’t carry their own guns (although some do). They can afford to HIRE somebody for that purpose. It’s the same with most of the anti-gun politicians. They make laws to keep us “average Americans unarmed and helpless, while using our tax money to HIRE armed security for themselves. It’s the old “yes for me, no for you” philosophy used by the “ruling class.” They reserve for themselves rights they deny us. Any time a politician tells you that you don’t need a gun—you need a gun.

The first thing would-be despots do is take away the guns from their “subjects.” That way, they can do with them what they wish, since they’re the only ones who have the guns. But they forget one thing. The “average citizen” can get guns illegally as easily as can law-breakers, and if gun control becomes total, they will. I know I will. Like all Americans, I insist on being able to defend myself against the law-breakers. And if I have to become a law-breaker myself, to do it—I will. I will not stand for politicians (who go armed, themselves, in one way or the other) blocking my ability to defend myself, or the have and use the means to that end, a gun. People like Mike Bloomberg, former NY mayor and current presidential candidate, push aside their armed “security” and say things like, “We can’t allow the average American to be armed.” Who is “we?” (Breitbart)

Bogus "Gun Research"

At one point, anti-gun fools in the liberal media “reported” that, “There is a shooting at hundreds of schools, almost one a week.” Which was a lie. NPR reporters looked into 235 “shootings reported by the U. S. Department of Education, and were able to confirm just 11 of them. They included fist fights on school grounds, shootings in nearby neighborhoods, and just distant gunshot-sounds as “instances of gun violence in schools.” This is how they arrived at their frightening figures. In some cases, they called it a “school shooting” when someone told someone at a school that he thought there had been a shooting somewhere. They say that the U. S. has more shootings than anywhere else, which it does not. That’s a myth perpetrated by University of Alabama associate professor Adam Lankford and repeated by anti-gun fools everywhere because they WANTED to believe it. Lankfort claimed “complete data from 171 countries,” which was impossible, since there aren’t that many countries that KEEP such data. Not only did the USA NOT have the most frequent mass shootings, it was only 62^nd on the list! Nancy Peelosi threatens us when she tells President Trump to be careful because a subsequent Dumocrat administration could declare “gun violence” to be a “national emergency” in the future. That’s the kind of thing Dumocrats do. CREATE an “emergency” so they can better control our lives. But the emergency on our southern border is real, whether or not the Dumocrats will ever admit it. Princess Nancy Is Fed Up

She’s tired of being asked about the sexual advances of her party’s choice to run for president. Yesterday she said, “I “m satisfied.” Today she says “It’s a closed issue. I won’t be answering any more questions about it. She wishes. After her minions made life torture for a long time for now Justice Brett Kavanaugh, asking him and his defenders interminable questions after making unfounded accusations of sexual impropriety back in the stone ages, she’s tired of being subjected to the same thing. Apparently she thinks since she’s “The Princess,” she doesn’t have to answer such questions and her constituents are required to vote the way she dictates, without question. And if one of her people is a sexual predator, oh, well. Accusing Republicans of sexual misconduct without evidence and insisting that evidence is not needed is routine for Dumocrats while insisting on “seeing the evidence” when the accused sexual predator is one of hers. Frankly, I’d tell her to go eat some ice cream and shut up! (Just common sense)

Make Yourself Defenseless!

What is the logical thing to do when threatened by an “outlaw?” Get a gun and be ready to oppose him in the only way he understands: equal opposition to his threat. But in reality, when a Dumocrat sees someone doing that, he/she wants to take away that gun and make him defenseless against the threat, while doing nothing about the threat. That became obvious when, after an “average citizen” with a legal gun killed a would-be mass killer in that church in Fort Worth, Texas, lawmakers rushed to make a law preventing him from being able to bring his gun into that church in the future. On a national scale, when President Trump surprisingly killed a rabid terrorist pretending to be a general in Iraq, who had murdered hundreds of innocent Americans among others, Nancy Peelosi and other Dumocrats rushed to make that impossible, too. It’s obvious they want to eliminate the very idea of self defense. Anti-gun laws are just a means to that end, for them. They will not be happy until they have destroyed the very concept of self defense. What they plan to do when attacked then, is beyond my comprehension. (Just common sense)

Passed Background Check

And he's a known felon. So what good are they? What the hell good was the “background check” law in Illinois when a KNOWN FELON brought a gun he shouldn’t have even been allowed to own to work when he was pretty sure he was going to be fired. Then he shot and killed several people, including the plant manager and the Human resources manager—who obviously had a hand in firing him. Then he hid in the plant, while the cops “tracked him down” and killed him as he shot it out with them, wounding four cops. All this with a gun he passed their background check to buy, while being a felon. Anti-gun fools delight in celebrating the passage of such ignorant, unenforceable laws, while KNOWING they will never stop a determined mass shooter, or even a “gang-banger” who has to kill somebody to “earn his chops” to join their gang. That NONE of their highly touted “anti-gun laws” do ANYTHING to stop, or even slow down “gun violence” is a given. They have to be aware of that, yet they still make them, while those laws only serve to disarm the law-abiding, making then “easy targets” for those who routinely ignore those laws. The CEO of this company said, “We’ll look at our shortcomings,” as if to say this “killing spree” was not the fault of the shooter, but the fault of the victims. (CNN)

"It Dint Happen!"

Says Joe Biden. Three words strung together in a row. I’m surprised “Confused Joe” Biden actually got them out without making a gaffe, as gaffe-prone as he is. This with no evidence to back up his claim, while his accuser has much evidence to back her claim. Nancy Peelosi waited little time to come out and say, “I’m satisfied.” Now let’s get on with foisting this fool on us as president. (My words) There was not a scintilla of evidence against Brett Kavanaugh when she led the charge to get his appointment to the Supreme Court denied—without success, because the accuser couldn’t even say who, for sure, sexually assaulted her way back when, in the long ago dustbin of history when both were in school. And she was not the only Dumocrat to express similar sentiments. Biden is their only hope to defeat Donald Trump in 2020. A forlorn hope, at best. And a disaster in the making if, by some miracle, it happens. If he ever becomes president, it will be Nancy and her accomplices who run the show because Biden is “losing it” fast. We will quickly become a socialist nation as the first thing they do. Which will destroy our economy and the very reason why so many people “move Heaven and earth to come here to live, believing that BS about “streets lined with gold.” A myth like that usually has SOME basis I truth and ours is that our economy, at its worst, makes the economies of other countries look sick. Woe be us if Joe Biden ever gets the keys to the White House! (Just common sense)

Politicians Feeling Their Oats

Governors, all over the country, are “giving orders” not backed by law to their citizens and applying unconstitutional “cruel and unusual punishment” when opposed. A major example of that was one mother who reopened her salon “against orders” so she could feed her children. She was arrested, fines $7,000.00, and jailed for seven days. That $7 grand was “cruel and unusual punishment” in itself, but adding a seven day jail sentence for a woman just trying to feed her children is extreme, but that is just one way “the authorities” are “running wild” using this virus as an excuse. In one case I heard about they fined a man $10,000.00 for not wearing a mask in public. Tell me: where is there a law that says they have the power to demand people wear masks in public? In “The People’s Republic of California” the governor told a sheriff who said he would not enforce the unconstitutional anti-gun law they made, to “enforce the law or resign.” Never mind the law is illegal and, according to the Constitution, “no law at all.” In other places they are using “gun drawn raids” on people they suspect of “violating orders.” It’s only going to be a matter of time before they shoot somebody. Completely Clueless!

The chairman of the House Judiciary Committee says a “Democrat president could declare a ‘gun crime’ emergency and take your guns away. Apparently, this member of Congress doesn’t know the Second Amendment exists, and any president who tried would be stopped. That’s the major difference between what President Trump did, and a future Dumocrat president “taking away our guns” using the same thing. There is a specific law ALLOWING Trump to do what he did, than does NOT exist to allow a future president to “take away our guns” the same way. The Second Amendment gets in the way. Nancy Peelosi (Majority Leader in The House) feels the same way, and is just as clueless. This is the problem we have with ALL those who wish to get rid of our constitutional right to be armed for self defense. They think they can “get around it” by simply making a law. They can’t. Wall-to-Wall Virus

I’m getting sick of it. Every time I glance at my TV I see the word “Coronavirus.” Or “Covid 19.” Or just “virus.” It’s as if there were no other news. The news media—including Fox News-- is obsessing on it, even moreso than usual. And they emphasize the negative things about the virus, whipping up panic, especially among “old folks” like me. I haven’t been out of my house for months. Not because of the virus, but because I’m in my 80s and can barely walk two feet without puffing like a locomotive steaming uphill. But they still have me worried about getting the virus because I’m in the wrong age bracket and have at least one underlying medical problem. They tell me daily how many people have died of the virus, but not much about the number of people (especially those in my age bracket) who have survived. There’s another pandemic out there, and it’s been there for decades with no virus found to deal with it, but they rarely talk about it. It’s called “HIV.” I know they figure people need to know what’s happening with the virus, but they don’t need to be “wall-to-wall virus,” pounding the danger into our heads every day without at least telling us about the good things. A Pronouncement of Fools

There are many among anti-gun fools who think the Second Amendment is an “anachronism and outdated.” They say things are different today, and such an amendment is no longer needed. They’re WRONG. Yes, things are different. The government, which was not “flush with money” like they are today thought of ALL THE PEOPLE as being subject to “call up” into an “organized militia” if needed, and they wanted them to bring their own guns. But the basic reason for that amendment is self defense. Intelligent people know that the way to self defense is NOT to make yourself defenseless and beg an aggressor not to kill you. If you do, they WILL kill you. But you can’t tell the anti-gun fools that. They are BLIND to reason and logic. Some of them deny the very existence of reason and logic. The important thing to note is that the Second Amendment is NOT about guns, per se. It is about SELF DEFENSE. The Founders wanted to guarantee Americans the right to self defense, by whatever means, including arms. Even from the government, itself, if necessary. That has not changed, even though, as one ignorant congressman noted, “the government has nukes” to use on you. But there are still situations where having a gun can stop a government agency from violating the rights of an individual, as one rancher recently proved. There is also the fact of the millions of ILLEGAL guns out there to be defended against. (Just common sense)

The War's Still On

In Baltimore, MD, as in Chicago, the street gangs are engaged in a war. “Authorities” tried to get them to have a “72 hour cease fire,” but the urge to kill was just too much for some gang members, so there have been several killings that very weekend. What good they thought that would do is anybody's guess, but obviously it failed, because the guys with all the ILLEGAL guns ignored it, as they do their anti-gun laws. None of their highly-touted laws do ANYTHING to stop, or even slow down “gun violence,” but they keep making them. They also do things like this “72-hour cease fire”—which are ALSO failures. Another obvious failure anti-gun fools ignore is the fact that their “gun-free zones” are not “gun-free,” but are KILLING ZONES because those with ILLEGAL guns can be pretty sure law-abiding people will not be armed there, so they can bring their guns and kill at will. Everything they , have done so far, has been a failure. Their only accomplishment is to get law-abiding people KILLED by DISARMING them in the face of all the ILLEGAL guns out there in the hands of “neer-do-wells.” Their laws DEPEND on such people, who break laws for a living, to OBEY the laws they pass and they predictably (to those with intelligence, anyway) ignore them, making them look like the FOOLS they are, and always have been. (Just common sense)

Democrats Are Loving It

After years of trying to paint Trump as a bad president while he scores more and more wins, they can now talk up the fact that his economy has “tanked,” without talking abut the virus that caused it. The rise of the Coronavirus has canceled out most of the good things Trump has done for the economy, and the Dumocrats love it. They couldn’t care less how many people die of the virus or those “underlying medical problems” as long as they can talk about how the economy tanked under Trump. It will take us years to get back where were before the virus, if we ever do. The Dumocrats care only about how they can USE this panic for their own purposes. Trump is doing a good job of dealing with it, but they still criticize his every move. They also block his every move when they can, or at least make it difficult for him to get anything done, while people die. Then they talk about how many people have died, saying nothing about how THEY caused those deaths with their meddling. (Just common sense)

He Didn't Need A Gun

Four guys threatened to come into his home and kill him and his family. When they tried, he killed them—with his bare hands. Well, one of them, anyway, and with a knife. The others are in the pokey. San Francisco “authorities” say he may “face charges” in the death of one of them. Typical SF stupidity. an unarmed man (who happened to be a MMA fighter) fights off FOUR MEN trying to rob and kill him after threatening to do so, and they want to charge HIM in the death. What FOOLS they be. Typical liberals who want ELIMINATE our right to self-defense. We need to take them out and shoot them. We need to CELEBRATE this guy, not charge him. Damned fool liberals running SF. I'm surprised they haven't run it broke, like in Detroit. (Just common sense)

"Do As We Do; It Works"

That’s what Chicago says. But it does NOT work. They have some of the tightest “anti-gun laws” in the country, coupled with one of the highest, if not THE highest gun killing rate in the nation. THIS is “what we do is working?” The people who insist on this must be having an “opium high,” because nothing could be further from the truth. And one of the “mayor hopefuls” says the way to success is to somehow FORCE the sovereign states of Indiana and Wisconsin to institute the Illinois/Chicago “victim disarmament laws” upon their citizens, even suing them, if necessary. As if one state suing another sovereign state will work. They blame it all on guns “imported from other states,” thinking that, if they can get Indiana and Wisconsin to help, they can solve the problem. The basic flaw in their plan is that none of these laws work. So FORCING them on other states will not stop anything. In addition, if they do cooperate, criminals in other states will “rush in” to fill the void. That is a given. Of course, the fact that ALL guns always “come in from elsewhere” (unless manufactured in the state) is not mentioned. (Just common sense)

The Dishonest Media

Years ago, I got into reporting about the way the press is lying to you because I could see what we have today coming. Or maybe it was already there in full force, but better hidden. Today they just don’t care any more if you know how they use the news to support a false narrative. Example: when they publish a story that tells you just the opposite of reality when they know the proof of their lie is easily available. Then they just ignore the fact they ever published a lie. There’s evidence of just that in the recent story that was all over the news that President Trump had fired FDA official Rick Bright because he was telling us about dangers associated with use of hydroxychloroquine when he was actually doing just the opposite, and it didn’t take much more than a few days for the truth to come out that Bright himself was pushing FOR the use of that drug. All by the Trump-hating media to make Trump look bad. Not only was Bright not fired for anything having to do with hydroxychloroquine, hs firing was being considered long before anybody thought about the Coronavirus. They were talking about it as far back as January 2. As usual the story they published was based on “unnamed sources.” (Red State)

Gun-Free Zones

One of the silliest ideas anti-gun fools have come up with is the “gun-free zone.” People put up signs saying, “No Guns Allowed Here” and law-breakers fill them full of bullet holes. Law-breakers SEEK OUT gun-free zones because they can be pretty sure the law-abiding people there will not be armed, because they DO obey laws, even if they know they’re stupid laws. They have to know this, but they continue to establish more and more of them, while people die there because they’re disarmed and helpless when a law-breaker brings his ILLEGAL gun there to kill a few people. So far, with one or two exceptions, ALL mass shootings have occurred IN a “gun-free zone.” A favorite place for mass shootings is a school—ALL of which are gun-free zones. But a gun-free zone has never stopped a potential mass shooter from coming in and killing a few people. So what the hell GOOD are gun-free zones? Like all the other anti-gun fool bright ideas, they just get honest people killed, because all they do is disarm the law-abiding, while the law-breakers ignore them and kill people therein. The recent shooting in Milwaukee was in a gun-free zone, surprise, surprise! (The Gun Feed)

What "Common Sense?"

The anti-gun fools like to call their unenforceable, useless, anti-gun laws “common sense laws.” But ARE they common sense? Or are they just “wishful thinking” from people who have no idea how to stop “gun crime” and want to do SOMETHING, even if it doesn’t work, that they can CLAIM is to “stop gun violence” and make themselves feel better. “Gun-free zones” are an “engraved invitation” to would-be shooters since they can be pretty sure the law-abiding there will not be armed. “Gun registries are also useless, since they do NOTHING about gun violence, and only allow the cops to (maybe) locate a shooter IF he stood for one when buying a gun LEGALLY. Criminals do not. “Safe storage” laws only serve to make the guns we have useless in defending against the holder of an ILLEGAL gun fast enough to actually do anything in self defense. All their laws are just “flailing around,” trying to find SOMETHING that will work. But as long as they concentrate on the GUN, nothing is going to work. (Just common sense)
