Where Best to Be Poor

If I were to be condemned to be “poor,” I’d rather be poor in America than in any other country in the world. People who consider themselves “poor” in America would be considered “rich” in most other countries. They did a television special on “the poor” in New York a few years ago that flopped because the pictures they took through the tenement windows showed the flickering of color television sets. Poor people don’t own color television sets. Neither do they have cars, nor their own homes. I remember a time when my own daughter told me we were “poor” because of what she had learned at school.

At the time I had three cars, color TV, an expensive model railroad layout in the basement, and many other things “poor people” do not have, including a five bedroom house where she had her own room. This is what our kids are being taught in school today. She was not “starving” in any way. It strikes me as funny that many “poor people” are fat. How could they be fat if they’re “starving?” there’s nothing wrong with being overweight, except for the health factor. But “starving people” are NOT overweight. (Walter E. Williams/Town Hall)

al Qaida is Racist

That’s what Obama is now saying. Not because they treat their women badly; not because they KILL people, just for not believing the same way they do. Not because in countries run by Muslims, other religions cannot exist (with few exceptions). In some Muslim countries, just possessing a Bible gets you a prison sentence. Michelle "Out of Touch"

She has ALWAYS been out of touch with America and its problems. Nobody who is IN touch would show up in the Gulf wearing a “designer dress” with what looks like oil splotches all over it. She says “there are beaches not spoiled by oil, completely ignoring the fact that it is only a matter of time until they are, mostly because Obama (her husband) refused help in the early days and knows nothing about how to stop the leak while claiming (falsely) to have been “on it from day one.” Both she and her husband CLAIM to have never heard Rev. Jeremiah Wright utter an “anti-white racist remark” in the 20 years they sat ion his church and listened to him rant. I don’t believe that lie, and you shouldn’t either. (Press-Register)

George Steinbrunner Is Dead

That’s it. That’s all I’m going to say about it while the media (including Fox News) talks about it for a week, until we get tired of it. The media (including Fox) obsesses over things on a regular basis. Yes. His death is important because he was an important man. But it doesn’t require a WEEK of stories about every little thing they can uncover about his life. We’re not interested in how many times he went to the bathroom in his life, or many other trifles they will come up with to fill time. He’s dead. He was 80 years old. That’s it. That’s all that’s important. When I die (and I’m 73 years old this year) it won’t even merit a mention on the news. My family will probably even have to PAY to have my obituary appear in the newspaper (If they want it). The difference? A few billion dollars in net worth, I suppose, and the fact that I don’t own a major league baseball team. But I don’t mind. They obsess over many things. This is just the one they’re obsessing over today. This is the last thing I will say about it. (MSN)

It's Not About Race!

“This is not about race; it's about facts. Use a few of these facts the next time somebody wants to engage you in discussion about the border. Tell him you learned these things from somebody who can see Mexico from his front porch.” This article is written by a former military officer who goes armed in his own home because of all the illegal aliens coming through, some of whom will not hesitate to kill ANYBODY who gets in their way (and have). That was said by a black man, a member of the "New Black Panthers," and the media doesn't care, nor cover it. What do you think would happen if Glenn Beck said that about black people? He'd be "run out of town on a rail" after being tarred and feathered. Fox would fire him. Liberals and angry black racists would scream that "that’s how ALL whites think." But meanwhile they’re criticizing US for talking about this patent black racism in an organization that has SHOWN their racism in their actions over the years. “There’s no way in hades Beck, or you, or I could say that stupid crap and walk away from it without a 5-10 year sentence. The hate crime cops would be all over us—and justly so.

But it appears that blacks can get away with it when it is directed at white devils while BHO is in da [White -RT] House.” Yes, they call themselves “The NEW Black Panthers,” suggesting the idea that the people running it are “new.” But they’re not. The PEOPLE may be “new,” but their IDEAS and PREJUDICES are NOT. Just like the people running Russia SAY they’re not communists any more. I’d say they’re not communists any LESS. Somebody needs to “rein these people in” before they hurt more people. If I had had my way into a voting place blocked by such as that Shabazz jerk (Panthers are all named Shabazz), I’d have walked right over him while holding his jewels in my fist. Imposing Justice

When Israel boarded that ("supply") ship heading for Gaza, all they wanted to do was inspect it to be sure it was not carrying weapons or troops to be used in attacking them as the Palestinians are known to do. They were brutally attacked and they retaliated, killing nine of the Palestinians who attacked them. The United Nations condemned them for defending themselves and Obama’s administration joined the vote to do so. Which tells me Obama and his administration are as stupid as I always thought they were. The United Nations is COMPOSED of dictators and kings who do the same things as the Palestinians do. So to me, they have NO right to condemn Israel for defending itself. Barney Frank says he is “ashamed to be a Jew” because of it. Does he think Israel should not have to right to defend itself? That just tells me he’s stupid. But I already knew that, so what else is new? (Breitbart)

America Rising

America is “rising up” and the first thing America will do is vote everybody who has supported Obama’s travesties of law out of office in November, 2010. then they will vote Obama himself out of iffice in November, 2012 (if they can't impeach him sooner), replacing him with (hopefully) Sarah Palin or Bobby Jindal, or both. Obama's "Leftward Lurch?"

Somebody’s been kidding Dick Morris if he thinks it’s a “leftward lurch.” Left is what Obama IS, and so are his accomplices. Anybody with a modicum of intelligence can see that if they’re paying attention. He speaks of “redistribution of wealth” and that is PURE socialism, no matter how much they deny reality. He has many times expressed hatred of private enterprise, and THAT is pure socialism. The liberals try to deny they are pushing socialism, but it’s becoming more and more obvious that’s what they ARE pushing. If we allow him to continue what he’s doing by not getting rid of his voting majority in the Congress, at the very first opportunity, that’s what we’re going to get. Does N. Korea Exist?

Except for the current fight about them gaining nuclear weapons and the world fearing what they’ll do once they get them (they don’t know why), nothing much has been said about Korea in the sixty years since we fought them and China to a standstill they STILL call a win. They couldn’t beat us, and we couldn’t beat our own liberal “wimpy” politicians—something we’re facing now in Afghanistan and Iraq. In this article, Mark Holzer wonders why, and asks many good questions about it: “As of last week, sixty years have gone by since the commencement of the Korean War. However, one can find nary a mention of this landmark date anywhere in the media. Why the silence?” Why, indeed? Especially since we are facing the same thing in Iraq and Afghanistan. Medicare Czar "Loves" British System

“President Obama will soon name Dr. Donald M. Berwick, an iconoclastic scholar (sic) of health policy, to run Medicare and Medicaid, the programs that serve nearly one-third of all Americans, administration officials said Saturday.” This guy has SAID he “loves” the British system that allows “old people” to die rather than spend what it would take to keep them alive. This man is about as STUPID as they come, yet Obama thinks he’s the best man to run the medical business in this country. How stupid is OBAMA? We need to get rid of this man (Obama) before he (or his subordinates, otherwise known as his accomplices) make rules that kill us all. Obama has already made rules that have killed a lot of people. The longer he is in that office, the more blood will be on his hands. Jailed for Preaching Jesus to Muslims

Talk about a reversal! Try to preach ANY other religion in an Islamic-controlled country and you will be at the very least jailed for along time, or put to death—depending on which Muslim-controlled country it is. And if Christians try to preach Jesus to MUSLIMS, in the United States, THEY are jailed. Because “preaching Jesus” to Muslims might “offend” them. Frankly, this offends ME! Even though I’m not big on organized religion of ANY kind. I believe in a “superior intelligence” that orders this complicated universe, but I have no idea what form it takes. I don’t pretend to know the answers, but I don’t think jailing those who think they do is right, on either side. (Western Journalism)

I Hate All Black People!

Boy, would I be in trouble if I ever said anything like that! But this “King Samir Shabazz” guy says the same thing about white people and everybody tries to minimize it, saying it was just the act of “youthful indiscretion.” He also says we need to “kill a lot of crackers,” his word to mean white people. This is the guy who was standing in front of a polling place carrying a nightstick, intimidating voters—and which Obama’s Department of Justice will NOT prosecute because they were there in SUPPORT of Obama.

This is the kind of thing a con man like Obama thinks he can get away with. Does he really think we are that STUPID that we can’t understand what’s going on? The DOJ says “No more cases against blacks.” Soon, the jails will empty out because MOST crimes are COMMITTED by blacks. That’s not racism, that’s common sense and truth and is borne out by the figures. This is another stupid thing being done by people in Obama’s administration. (Soda Head)

Obama's "Stimulus" Has Failed

Mostly because there was NO WAY it could succeed (at least, by OUR standards)! Using tax dollars (taken from American citizens) to “stimulate” the economy doesn’t work because that does not create NEW wealth. It takes EXISTING money and redistributes it (that’s collectivism). ONLY new wealth created by the PRIVATE SECTOR can make the economy better. New wealth is created by entrepreneurs who take their own (earned) money and INVEST it in projects that both CREATE JOBS and PROFITS without taking money forcefully from others.

Of course, Obama is now trying to get a NEW “stimulus bill” passed under a new name. There have been SEVERAL “stimulus bills” passed under several different names, and NONE of them have helped a whit. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different outcome. That’s what Obama and his accomplices are doing. All it does is create “slush funds” he can use to give money to his friends, who have already given much money to his campaign fund. (Financial Planning)

Typical Environmentalist Fools

They can’t prove it. But they assert it. Then they say, “What if I’m right?” then say we should do some stupid things right away to “fend off” the effects of the things they can’t prove will happen, “just in case” it does. How stupid ARE these people? How stupid do they think WE are? The holes in their story are many, but they still get other fools to send them money to promote their silly theories, while others DO the stupid things they suggest. My own SON has many of those silly “compact flourscent” light bulbs and he swears by them, forgetting entirely that if he breaks ONE of them he needs to call in a “haz-mat team” for an expensive cleanup. Of course, he won’t, and might even suffer from it. I can’t prove that, but maybe he should stop using them, even if their use IS the law, “just in case.” Yes, use of incandescent bulbs HAS been banned in a few years. Just on the “off-chance” they’re bad. That’s what politicians DO: ban things THEY THINK might be “bad for us,” whether we like it or not, and whether or not they can prove it. Obama INSISTS on Doing the Wrong Thing

A judge overturned Obama’s moratorium on drilling, which was brought on by the Gulf oil spill. Obama apparently thinks ONE spill will cause a lot of others, to the extent that he must cost thousands of oil drilling workers their jobs and millions of stockholders in BP to do likewise. Look at your own retirement plan. I’d be willing to BET that YOU hold BP stock in your portfolio. Obama has pledged to “appeal” the rejection of his stupidity. Four Justices Can't Read

The Supreme court just affirmed the right of Americans to “keep and bear arms” but four justices think this does not include HANDguns. Where, in that short, very clear Amendment to the United States Constitution does it say “only long guns are covered?” They’ve tried the “militia” scam and that didn’t work. Now they’re trying to say the government CAN ban HANDGUNS. And predictably, the four LIBERAL justices agreed. So the argument continues over what KIND of guns can be carried while criminals continue to kill innocent people with the guns they carry ILLEGALLY and stupid politicians think we can defend ourselves by DISARMING ourselves. That has been Obama’s mantra about his response to the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, and likewise the mantra of all his mouthpieces. There’s one problem: it isn’t true. It’s a typical Obama lie, told to cover the fact that it was more than FIFTY DAYS before he made a meaningful trip down there to see things first-hand. It’s yet another example of the liberal use of Goebbel’s (Hitler’s PR man) system: “Tell a lie. Tell it often to as many people as will listen. Soon it will become truth, and those who believe it will fight you if you try and set them straight.” You should remember that every time you hear the “from day one” lie. And you will hear it, often, from Obama and everybody who wishes to fool you into believing Obama has been “on top of this” since the beginning. Those are the “code words” Obama and all his accomplices are chanting to make you think they were in the Gulf of Mexico right away when BP’s well exploded. They weren’t. Not in any HELPFUL way. All they’ve done is get in the way. Thirteen countries have offered help (proven help) and have been rebuffed because of a 1920s law made to protect union members in this country. A law that is easily “set aside” in an emergency, and has been in the past (Bush did it in 4 days after Katrina and it toiiok Obama 70 days after the Gulf spill). Now they’re using the term in other ways, and are lying every time they use it. They refused to use things that were right here in this country and things Governor Bobby Jindal wanted to use. He also was rebuffed. They SAY they know how to stop the leak, but they don’t. And they won’t allow anybody else to stop it, either. Especially if that person is a Republican, as is Jindal. Capitalism Made Us Great

Does anybody wonder why in less than 300 years this country has outstripped civilizations that have been in existence for THOUSANDS of years? It’s CAPITALISM; that “terrible system” liberals hate so much. The system they’re continually trying to undermine and replace with collectivism (socialism, communism, fascism, progressivism, or whatever other name they come up with to confuse us), a failed system that DEPENDS on the profits made by capitalists to have any money and property out there to steal and “redistribute.” Russian communism, their first “showcase” in the recent world, collapsed under its own weight after 70 some years, while the communist dictator of the time told his friends not to worry, that the collapse of communism is “just a ploy” to fool those capitalist idiots.

Meanwhile, countries under capitalism flourished until the socialists in our own government succeeded in subverting it with the "Citizen's Reinvestment Act of 1976." Yes, Russia IS “no longer” a communist country, but it IS still a SOCIALIST country, ruled and run by the SAME PEOPLE, who just SAY they’re “not communists any more.” But the only difference between communism and socialism is “cosmetic.” They think we don’t know that; and, for the most part, they’re right. This is the second time we’ve heard this nonsense just recently. You don’t PASS a bad law just to see what’s in it. Who do they think they’re fooling? You read the bill BEFORE it’s passed so you know what’s in it BEFORE passing it and inflicting it on an unsuspecting nation. Congresspeople who vote in laws they have not read should be removed from office and imprisoned for dereliction of their duty and violation of their oaths. Any member of Congress who ADMITS to not reading the bills they pass into law should be SUMMARILY removed from office and run out of town on a rail after being tarred and feathered. Part of the scam being run by the White House and the rest of the liberal politicians is coming up with multi-thousand page bills NOBODY wants to read. They don’t NEED to be that big. Drilling in ANWR

The liberals want you to believe ANWR is a lush, warm, lovely place where lots of people live, and that drilling in the small “postage-sized” part of it DESIGNATED for drilling. Not so. It is unpopulated tundra, all but uninhabitable to humans. Drilling there will not appreciably damage ANYTHING there and any “damage” would be temporary and easy to reverse. The difficulty of stopping the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico is because they were FORCED to drill that far out, and that deep by the government’s “environmental restrictions” on drilling anywhere else. Had we been able to drill closer in, and less deep, any spill would have been minimal and easy to stop. Why does nobody talk about this?” Because then we would be able to put the blame directly where it belongs: on this government and their “environmental restrictions.” (“Thought You Should Know”)

How Stupid ARE They?

I get very angry at all the liberal bozos that get all “concerned” about how we “treat” Islamic prisoners who were caught on the field of battle trying to kill Americans for not believing in Islam—or THEIR VERSION of Islam. I learned everything I needed to know about them on Sept. 11, 2001. These people would kill those people as well as you and I just as soon as they see them. Why they are “concerned” about our “treatment” of such people is beyond me. I guess I just don’t think the same way they do. And I don’t WANT to. They’re STUPID. Not ignorant, STUPID. Maybe we should find them all and turn them loose in a room with a bunch of those Islamic extremist prisoners. See how long they’d last. I have no brief for the Islamic religion because I don’t like its teachings. But if they leave me alone, I’ll leave them alone. Only problem is, Islamic extremists use this religion as an excuse to kill people. For that, I’ll kill them if I find them and they try to kill me. (C-TV)

Senator Byrd Dies

Good riddance. It’s people like him who take a long time to die. Maybe there’s something to that old saw about “being too evil to die.” The people of the State of West Virginia have much to answer for in that they inflicted this monster upon us for so long, KNOWING he was a former top-ranking member of the Ku Klux Klan and a racist bigot, apt to foment laws and regulations inimical to freedom. He is best known for the “pork” he has brought to his state and the many things he thus has named after him in that state. In W. Virginia, you can’t drive a mile without seeing something with his name on it. As a member of the Klan, there’s no telling how many people’s deaths for which he is responsible.

In 1944, he wrote to racist Senator Theodore Bilbo (D-MS) that said, “I shall never fight in the armed forces with a Negro by my side ... Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.” They SAY he was no longer a racist, but I submit that “once a racist, always a racist,” though it was good for his career to hide it in his later life. Remember, he FILIBUSTERED the Equal Rights Amendment and voted AGAINST it. Though later on, he SEEMED to be moving in another direction, conveniently. It is common to “eulogize” people when they die, but some do not deserve it. Byrd was such a man. "Respect for the Office"

Many people say we should have “respect for the office if not for the man in it.” I disagree. With a man like Obama sitting in the Oval Office, the office deserves NO respect. His insistence on “dissing” Israel, which is only defending itself, which it has a right to, do is but one example of his idiocy while holding this office. Then there is his insistence on destroying the economy of the Gulf of Mexico area by banning all drilling because of an accident at one well. An accident made impossible by federal regulations forcing them to drill so far out and so deep. I have no respect for the man, OR the office as long as he is in it. This man is not just a bad president, he is a DISASTER for this country. He not only GETS no respect, he is DUE none. (Soda Head)

Drug War Makes It Worse

Let me say first thing that I am NOT a “druggie.” I’m probably the only person in the country who doesn’t even know what pot TASTES like, though after 18 years as a paramedic, I certainly know what it SMELLS like. Many of the people I scraped off the sidewalk and the street were there because of one drug or another, from pot right on up. But I have to ask a simple question: “What GOOD has the “drug war” done?” How many people are abusing drugs today as opposed to the number using BEFORE the “drug war” started? MORE. Which shows me the “drug war” is useless as a deterrent to illicit drug use, but a “handy tool” for cops and politicians to use in taking away our rights.

As witness the RICO laws, DESIGNED to stop cash-flush drug dealers from making federal prosecutors look silly in court, which, in itself is unconstitutional. Today, cops can stop you on the street with NO warrant, search you, steal any cash you have on you, only having to say “It MUST be drug money.” All this because of the “drug war.” Laws against drug use do NOTHING to stop, or even REDUCE access to illicit drugs, so why do we keep making them? It has been said, “Doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different result is insanity.” Yet our politicians insist on doing just that, with both drugs AND guns. No Budget This Year

Steny Hoyer (D-Md) will soon announce this. This departure is because they don’t want there to be any RECENT memory of a tax increase (which is coming) during the 2010 election. They hope that will make their losses smaller. They don’t think we will notice this. They’re already crowing about “not ALL incumbents losing.” As if it WERE all about incumbents, as they want you to believe. It’s not about “incumbents.” It's about those who voted for the health care swindle bill and the other socialist advancements. In any case, they only won the DEMOCRAT primaries. Wait until the REAL election in November. Those Democrats who won in the DEMOCRAT primaries will lose BIG in November when they have to run against Republicans. (The Hill)

Obama is talking about “subsidizing” (“bailing out”) the news organizations that are now going broke from parroting Obama’s bullsh-t. Neither he, nor the media itself will admit the REAL reason they’re going broke, but if he succeeds in “subsidizing” (bailing out) the media, the “regulations” will soon follow. Among them will be thinly disguised “guidelines” forcing them to stop allowing ANYTHING that doesn’t agree with him. Count on it. when that happens, you can kiss freedom goodby. McChrystal Is Right

Everybody except Gen. McChrystal’s staff say he showed a ”lack of judgment” in the remarks he made to that “Rolling Stones” reporter. I don’t think so. He knew exactly what he was doing. He was frustrated by the similarity in Obama’s policies to that displayed by the liberals who caused us to lose the Viet Nam war and wanted to make sure his name would NEVER be associated with it when these idiots finally cause us to lose the war on terrorism. He had his resignation in hand when he confronted Obama. In any case, he’s right to call them “those wimps in Washington.” They ARE wimps. The only thing they’re good at is conning themselves into power. Unfortunately when they get there, they have no idea how to proceed and screw EVERYTHING up, as they are doing now. We Know Whose Butt to Kick

Obama spoke very thuggishly recently about finding out whose butt to kick. Well, we know whose butt NEEDS kicking, not just about the oil spill and the complete lack of competence Obama has shown in figuring out how to stop it. That includes refusing offers both from other countries, as well as from right here in America while doing everything he can (such as imposing a six-month’s ban on deep water drilling, now judged unconstitutional) to make things worse, both for the oil leak, and for the people already suffering from it. Obama Is No Fool

He is purposely overwhelming the U.S. economy to create systemic failure, economic crisis and social chaos -- thereby destroying capitalism and our country from within.” Obama is a saboteur who is out to destroy capitalism as an economic system in this country and force it to join the rest of the failed socialist states still in existence, while being propped up by those that still have money. Congressman Assaults Student

All the kid wanted was the answer to a question. He was not “confronting” this congressman in any way, and he did NOT “refuse to identify himself” as the liberal media is claiming. He simply asked his congressman a simple question which he could have easily answered with one word (something that comes hard to a congressman). Instead, he assaulted this kid. This kind of arrogance is not to be tolerated by our employees; people we have hired to represent us. This is not North Korea, where an “average citizen” (otherwise known as a “serf”) dare not approach one of his “rulers” wielding a “flip-phone.”

In fact, there he is not even allowed to HAVE a cell phone. These Democrats are scared to death of Americans who speak up. They actually BELIEVE the crap their party puts out about “Tea Party people” being violent. This, of course, ignores the fact that there has been NO violence connected to the “Tea Party movement” except maybe for that created by the SEIU union thugs sent out by Obama. The Useless "Drug War"

Yes, it’s “useless.” Unless you’re a cop or government agent who wants to steal as much as you can without getting in trouble yourself. Then it’s VERY useful because it prompted the enactment of the RICO laws, which are unconstitutionally DESIGNED to keep “rich” drug dealers from hiring expensive lawyers who can, and do, make federal lawyers look stupid, which many of them are. Every American, drug dealer or not, has a RIGHT to the best representation they can find, or afford (and until they're convicted, they aren't drug dealers). To have a law that stops them from using their money for their own defense is UNCONSTITUTIONAL. This useless drug war has enabled the government to do many other things they could not do without it. The number of people who abuse drugs today EXCEEDS that who were abusing drugs when the “drug war” started. Of what use is it? It certainly doesn’t stop determined drug users from obtaining their illicit drugs and all it does is make it EASIER for them to do so while giving the government an excuse to destroy more of our rights “to fight the drug war, dontcha know.”

It also enriches the “drug lords” and everyone else in the “supply line,” which it would not do if users could get their drugs at the drug store without the high price they have to pay drug pushers (who work hard to ensnare CHILDREN in their “web.” Not only that, the government, which works overtime to find new things to tax, could skim off a lot of the profits if this were legal, as are cigarettes. I have two children who were drawn into the “drug scene” and they’re both now dead. So don’t be stupid and accuse me of being “in favor” of drugs. We should have learned from prohibition that banning something adults are determined to use will only enrich criminals--and it does NOT work. But don’t expect our politicians to understand this. How It Is In School

This is pretty much how it is in school these days. If you have a pulse, you pass the course, and get a diploma. Of course, the fact you can’t even read the diploma doesn’t seem to matter much to anybody except you, when you try to do the job you’re hired to do, based on the fact you have that diploma. That will all come to a stop when employers begin to realize having a diploma doesn’t mean you ever learned anything. When that happens maybe schools will stop teaching politically correct things and go back to teaching real subjects. But don’t look for that to happen any time soon. "It's A Shakedown!

Joe Barton (R-TX) is right, no matter how much Democrats and RINOs complain. Obama does not have the power to DEMAND that BP “set aside” $20 billion dollars, which HE (Obama) will control to pay off the people who Obama “deems” to have been hurt by the Gulf Oil Spill. Not because I have any brief for BP. They screwed up, and should have to pay the bill when it comes due. But BP should control the payoffs, not little mister B. O. Another thing: BP should retain the right to “write off” what it’s costing them to clean up the spill because those taxes are on money they DID NOT KEEP. They should not have to pay taxes on top of that. There’s talk on CNN that they should be forced to PAY these taxes on money they did not earn and did not get to keep. The CEO of BP underwent an “inquisition” the other day, answering many questions with “I don’t know.” Which is not surprising. He is not involved in the “day-to-day” workings of BP oil drilling, and should NOT be. He’s the “BIG boss,” not a local “straw boss.” He has “people” who should know all those things. (J. E. Have you ever heard of the “Jones Act?” Probably not, and probably you WILL not hear about it from the liberal media, this law prevents us from using foreign technology contained on foreign ships. The Jones Act requires that “all goods transported by water between U. S. ports be carried in U. S. flag ships, constructed in the United States, owned by U. S. citizens and U. S. permanent residents.” This law was passed to “protect” American shipping interests and could be waived in an emergency by the president. It has been waived in the past. All Obama has to do is officially “waive” it and we could take advantage of proven new technology that is being used in foreign countries. But as this is written, he has not. What’s WRONG with this man? Is he STUPID, or just obtuse? Or does he just not care, despite his protestations and expressions of anger? (Wikipedia)

"They'd Be There Stopping It"

“Let's also stipulate, as T. Boone Pickens said on Larry King Live last night, if anyone knew how to stop this thing, they'd be in there doing it.” But they aren’t, because Obama won’t let them. There have been several offers from people with PROVEN methods of stopping such things as the Gulf oil spill and they have been refused, for various reasons. In one case an offer came from a foreign country that has been dealing with such deep-water spills for years, but it was refused because of a 1920 law (The Jones Act) enacted to PROTECT mariners. One that can be waived in an emergency, and which WAS waived by Obama’s chief object of blame, George Bush. In another case, Obama just didn’t know about a supply of oil blocking booms stored in a warehouse—mostly because he wasn’t TOLD about them. “Then, let's stipulate that no one in U.S. Government - the Congress or the Administration - provided any oversight to the oil companies as they set about drilling deeper and deeper wells, with less and less technology or engineering data to support it.” They didn’t “provide oversight” because they were paid off. “Business as usual” in Washington. It's Never Enough

No matter how much the media fawns on Obama, it’s never enough. He will always pick out the ONE, solitary report that is “mildly critical” of him and castigate the writer. The only reason he doesn’t normally do that with people like me, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity. Glenn Beck, and the like is that he expects critical writing from us. Once in a while, he DOES “get enough of it” and does criticize us, whining like a baby because we just “don’t understand what he’s tying to do.” His problem really is, we DO “understand what he’s trying to do, all too well. Ben Shapiro says the two worst presidents in history are Jimmy Carter and James Buchanan. I wasn’t alive when Buchanan was in office so I can’t speak to that. The only thing I know is the three worse presidents in MY known history are Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and Brraakk Obama, with Obama topping the list and Bill Clinton second. Jimmy is the THIRD worst president in my known history, but with Buchanan on other people’s list, he nay well be right at the top of the list, too. Of one thing I am SURE. "Spoiling for a Fight"

The supposed “peace activists” who were really Palestinian terrorists “spoiling for a fight” got just what they were after when Israel boarded their ship to inspect it and were attacked. But they didn’t plan on nine people being killed in THEIR side. They hoped all casualties would be on the Israeli side. Their stated intention was NOT to deliver “humanitarian supplies” to Gaza. It was to “break the Israeli blockade.” Delivery of those supplies was just the “cover,” and it didn’t work. So they went to “Plan B,” the public relations blast, which continues. How Not To Get shot

This is an article that should have been read by that 15-year-old kid who was shot to death while throwing deadly stones at an armed Border Patrol officer who was all alone, against a BUNCH of smugglers, including that kid, that kid had a “rap sheet” that was very long, had been deported five times in the past, and was on the ”most wanted list.” But all that didn’t get him shot to death. An attack with deadly missiles against a man who was ALL ALONE trying to do his duty did. Whodathunkit! They wrote her off, but after sucking “mister zipper down,” Bill Clinton into her campaign, Blanche Lincoln just barely won the DEMOCRAT Primary in Arkansas. She ALMOST lost to another DEMOCRAT! Word is, this proves that “candidates and issues are more important than the strong anti-incumbent wind blowing nationally.” What a load THAT is! She just barely won, in a DEMOCRAT primary, with the help of the “Big Zipper.” The REAL issue will be joined in November, when she faces a REAL candidate, a Republican. It is NOT an “anti-incumbent wind.” It is “throwing out the bums who voted for Obama’s health care swindle and all his other free-spending plans.” Yes, they’re all “incumbents.” That’s how they get to vote. But it’s a little different than they want to make it. Being incumbents had nothing to do with it. It’s how they VOTED that is going to get them fired. They screwed us, and they’re going to be fired. "Investigate" Israel?

That’s what Obama plans to do. That “aid ship” Israel boarded to VERIFY was bringing in a lot more than “aid,” which they verified after they “put down” the attacks they suffered at the hands of the “aid” people (who turned out to be HAMAS soldiers) and killed nine of them. But Obama, who as a “good Muslim (admittedly),” wants to discredit everything the Israelis do, is going to have a “dog and pony show investigation” of that incident, while HAMAS sends yet ANOTHER ship into Gaza to replace the “items of war” the Israelis confiscated on the first one. Van Der Sloot Kills Again

Yoram Vandersloot kills again. He thought he could get away with it in Peru as he did before in Aruba. If the cops in Aruba had been just a little bit more competent, this girl would still be alive. He says he “went into a rage” when he found her “checking up on him.” That is not a “reason.” He just thinks he can kill at will, that the cops are too stupid to catch him. And in Aruba, he’s right. He made the mistake of trying the same thing where they WERE a bit more competent and now he will spend the rest of his miserable life (hopefully short) in prison. This guy is like a lot of men all over the world. They think women are only here to swerve their “needs” and if a woman displeases them, they can just kill them and no one will care. Most of them find out people DO care, but usually before they get a chance to kill more than once. I don't know; if I had to suffer under a name like that, I'd be mad at the world, too. Rosie O’Donnell just can’t understand how Helen Thomas’ crack about Jews needing to go back to Poland and Germany could possibly be construed as “hate speech,” which tells me a lot about the bigotry of Rosie. This b-tch is as hate-filled as Helen, but fortunately she doesn’t sit in ANY “position of power.” She DOES. However, have a place where she can spout her “hate-filled rhetoric” in public, which is unfortunate. Especially when you consider the hypocrisy of her positions. Terrorists Mourn Their Dead

They tried to “run the blockade,” and were WARNED that ANY ship approaching Gaza would be searched. All they had to do was peacefully allow the search and then go on their way (IF there was no contraband on board). But no; they ATTACKED the Israeli search team and got nine of their number killed. Now they’re whining to the United Nations while "mourning their dead." (Looks more like a celebration of a successful setup, to me), an organization MADE UP OF dictators and despots, and they got a resolution CONDEMNING Israel’s defense of itself against a KNOWN terrorist organization, HAMAS, and the U. S. did not veto it, which is unconscionable. Israel has an inherent right to defend itself without interference from this corrupt organization. Not even. The Imam who is going to build the Islamic mosque within feet of the site of the biggest Islamic terrorist-made disaster ever CLAIMS to be “one of the peaceful ones.” But he is not. A Pattern of Corruption

They’re desperate. The Obama administration is showing a pattern of Chicago-style corruption in a desperate attempt to stay in power after raping this country for all it can give. Obama has looted and pillaged the taxpayers of this country like no president before him. His people offered Congressman Joe Sestak a job in a futile effort to keep him from running against Arlen Specter (which did no good, since Specter lost in the primaries anyway). They offered Colorado Democrat Andrew Romanoff any one of THREE jobs in Washington if he would not get into the race against Colorado’s appointed Senator. These are just the two instances we KNOW about, which means there are any number of felony job offers out there we DON’T know about. Helen Thomas (I’m ashamed to have the same last name) is full of hate for Jews. How she maintained that hate in the face of the actions of their enemies, I don’t know. Maybe she was just too old and addled to do the job she tried to do, I don’t know (In the interest of full disclosure I confess to being an “oldster” myself, though not as old) ANYBODY who puts down an entire race of people without good reason has no business writing a regular column and being honored with a “down front and center” seat at presidential press conferences where she can make as much trouble as possible. Yes, she has the right to be a “Jew-hater” and to write her column as she desires. But not to be accorded such an exalted position as she has had. This woman should have long-since been retired. Environmentalists To Blame

They CLAIM to be for environmental protection, but they’re really AGAINST anything that SEEMS to be “anti-environmental.” It is the environmental extremists who are responsible for BP having to drill so far out, and consequently so deep that it makes everything harder. It doesn’t matter if BP was or was not trying to save some of the money environmentalism was costing them. The ORIGINAL cause of this disaster is that oil companies are not allowed to drill ANYWHERE the United States controls things. So they had to go outside our control. These people just don’t think things through. They don’t consider that the regulations their suits force will make it harder for companies looking for something that is ESSENTIAL to our survival, forcing them to go further and deeper to drill; places where an oil spill will be a MAJOR disaster, not a small one, as was the Exxon Valdez spill. To this time, there is NO effective, and cost-affordable substitute for oil. And until there is, we need to make it EASIER on the oil companies, not harder. Obama Is Not At War

America IS “at war with Islamic extremists,” NOT Islam, itself, as Islamic terrorists like to paint it. So does Obama, and will not allow government people, OR the liberal news media to USE the word “Islamic” anything to describe the war. After their earlier failed attempt to “break” the embargo wound up with nine of them dead, they have sent yet another ship in to do the same. Obama Announces New Restriction On Oil

Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emmanuel, famously said, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.” And Obama means to take as much advantage of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill as he can. He has openly told us about his hate for oil companies, and here is his chance to crap on any attempts to drill close into shore where it’s easy and he’s going to do it. He is ready to announce new restrictions on oil drilling within the United States, despite the fact that less drilling here means more dependence on oil coming from people who HATE us. People for whom WE found and developed the oil before they “nationalized (stole) it so they could sell it to us at confiscatory prices. This man is so STUPID I don’t know if he WILL make it to the 2012 election! Damn, what a jerk! (New York Times)

"Hate Speech?"

That’s how liberals define ANYTHING written or spoken that disagrees with their position. Now they’re trying to codify that definition by demanding the FCC “investigate” Rush Limbaugh and Fox News to “stop their hate speech.” And it might work, with all the liberals ON the FCC. If they can DEFINE truth as “hate speech,” they can shut these two entities up (for a while, until they find other ways to speak to the nation). If this happens for real, it will be the END of freedom in America. Hidden Laws

Politicians always find a way to pass bad bills into law without us knowing about it until it’s too late. One way is to attach a bill they previously couldn’t get passed publicly quietly onto a “must pass” bill so when this “must pass” bill becomes law, so does their bad law—and nobody, not even congresspeople, who don’t read the bills they pass into law anyway. This is a CRIMINAL way to pass a bad bill into law. There should be a law made AGAINST attaching ANY bill, not connected to the subject of the original bill, to it, in hopes it will pass quietly and we won’t know until they start enforcing it. But this won’t happen, unless enough congresspeople find their consciences long enough to pass it. (Just common sense)

Insane Government

This government is now being run by people who are INSANE! Israel boards a vessel run by Hamas, an Islamic terrorist organization who will do ANYTHING to remove Jews from the Earth, to INSPECT it. They TOLD them ANY vessel going to Gaza was subject to inspection. But the people on board attacked the boarders, causing nine of them to be killed. So the United Nations condemned the Israeli action and we did not veto it. This is INSANE! Israel HAS the inherent right to defend itself from people who want to kill every Jew in existence. And the UN “condemns” them for it. So who cares what an organization MADE UP OF dictators and despots thinks? They KNOW that if you raise taxes when the economy is broken will break it worse, so what do Obama’s goons do? They raise taxes, of course! They KNOW this country is BANKRUPT. So what do they do? They pass a law taking over 1/7 of the economy, the medical profession. They KNOW that “printing money” makes ALL the money in existence worth less, therefore STEALING the difference. So what do they do? They print money 24 hours a day! These people are INSANE! That’s the only explanation I can think of. (Just common sense)

Iran "Busting" for War!

They actually think they can WIN! We beat Iraq in ONE WEEK after Iran couldn't in EIGHT YEARS! They KIDNAPPED people who were only being TOURISTS in the mountains the next country over (though why ANYBODY would want to VACATION in Iraq, I can’t imagine) and strayed across a border that has almost nonexistent markings into Iran. The “ever vigilant” and paranoid Iranians sent out some soldiers to arrest them and subject them to a Soviet-style public kangaroo trial. They let their mothers in to see them with the press in attendance for a “dog-and-pony-show,” giving the world a heart-tugging scene of mother love, and put out a statement saying they’re SURE these kids are spies. What STUPIDITY! Do they think they’re fooling anybody? This just proves you should never allow half-brains to become a government. (Christian Science Monitor)

"Protective Stupidity"

It’s setting in here. Which is an indicator of just what kind of a president we’ve elected. In Your Face!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more “in your face” group than extremist Muslims. They KNOW Americans are going to object, but they don’t give a damn. They want to “throw it in our faces.” I know there are Muslims who don’t, but the ones who do are the ones running this project. Clinton Lying for Obama

It’s nothing new for Bill Clinton to lie. He lied to Congress and and lost his law license for five years while we paid a large fine to get him off the hook for it. Here’s what happened: Obama wanted to keep Arlen specter in the Congress so he told Rahm Emmanuel (he of the “never let a good crisis go to waste” comment) to find someone who will lie for him to offer Democrat Joe Sestak (It was very hard to find out he WAS a Democrat) a job if he will get out of the race against Specter. Of course, Clinton knew if Sestak accepted, Rahm would make it good. It was a FELONY for anyone in the administration to offer him a job, so it fell to the “house liar,” Bill Clinton, who was not himself “in the administration.”

After Clinton got his acceptance, Emmanuel could then give him the job without committing a felony, since Clinton was the actual “offerer” (and he could be given the job AFTER getting out of the election, eliminating the possibility of a felony). This is how it is done in Washington. Clinton was the “cut-out” that gave Obama “plausible deniability” and kept him from (technically) committing a felony. If there ever IS an “investigation” of this (which there probably won’t be with Obama controlling the means of prosecution), it will find “no wrongdoing,” of course, as do ALL “investigations” of itself done by people in Washington. Nightstick At Polls Not Prosecutable

Is a nightstick a weapon or is it not? Is there a law against people carrying weapons intimidating voters at a polling place or is there not. So what’s the problem? How is a Black Panther standing at the entrance of a polling place brandishing nightsticks NOT prosecutable? Maybe it’s “not prosecutable” because Obama won’t ALLOW it to be prosecutable. After all, those people were pushing Obama, and he OWES them. But can he show me the law that SAYS it’s not prosecutable? Doubtful. Unless he wrote it since the election and had it passed as part of something else without our knowledge as crooked politicians do. The Commission on Civil rights is now demanding to know why the Obama administration dropped the charges against these men. Does anybody think they will get a coherent answer? (World Net Daily)

Jindal Has A Plan: Obama Nixes It

Dammit! I’m not going to let a REPUBLICAN do something I couldn’t do! That seems to be what Obama is saying to Louisiana’s governor, Bobby Jindal. Jindal has a plan and wants to execute it. So Obama’s jerks tell him, “no.” why? Is anything they are doing (if anything) actually ACCOMPLISHING anything? Since when can a PRESIDENT stop the governor of a STATE from doing what it takes to save his own shoreline? Talk about this being Obama’s “waterloo!” Obama will go down in history as the president who allowed the Louisiana coastline to be destroyed. He claims it’s “all hands on deck,” but only DEMOCRAT hands, it seems. Rahm Emmanuel said, “Never let a good crisis go to waste,” and they’re not. Banning Books and Blogs

The Obama administration plans to control the Internet and ANY words that he “deems” to oppose his ideas and actions will be criminalized. This is how he’s going to “deal with” people like me, Drudge, Fox News, World Net Daily, etc. We will have to look at everything we say to see if he can, under this unconstitutional law, make criminals out of us and shut us up. Why doesn’t somebody DO something about this usurpation of the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States? Obama's "Kiss of Death"

Several Democrats have now “gone down in flames” after Obama supported them. Several other Democrats have lost, not even making it to the general election. Blanche Lincoln, once considered a “shoo-in,” just barely made it through the Democrat primary and might well lose in the general election. We’re seeing the beginnings of the “Democrat rout” we’re going to see in November. Obama knows it’s going to happen and he doesn’t give a damn as long as he succeeds in moving us closer to socialism. Law Needs to Be Changed

The cops say that 14 bus-loads of people (containing about 500 people) descended upon the home of a Bank of America employee, frightening his 14-year-old son and there were NO arrests. Because the cops “didn’t SEE anything unlawful.” 500 people standing around screaming outside someone’s home, standing on his property, ruining his yard? And THIS is not “anything unlawful?” C’mawn! There should definitely BE a law against such actions. Yes, people have a right to speak their minds, but NOT in this manner. This is “over the top” and such actions done in this manner should be unlawful. If this is the kind of thing that will happen if you oppose Obama, we need to GET RID OF Obama. (Just common sense)

Veto Kills Man

In Kentucky, licensed concealed gun carriers have the right (contained in the Constitution) to carry their guns for self-defense—except in restaurants and taverns, of course. The legislature made a law to fix that oversight and the governor vetoed it. So a stalker waited until his victim entered a place where she could not legally bring her gun and murdered a woman’s husband in a restaurant soon after. That didn't stop this murderer from bringing in HIS gun. Funny how the criminals always seem to be able to get guns while honest people can’t. “Governor Bredesen has ignored the will of the citizens of Tennessee yet again. Bredesen’s veto of the Restaurant Carry Bill speaks volumes about his disregard for our Constitution and our Second Amendment rights. This man was elected and swore under oath to uphold our Constitution. Nikki Goeser lost her husband because a stalker wanted him “out of the way” and she could do nothing since her licensed gun was in the car because of Tennessee’s law prohibiting guns anywhere food or alcohol is served. The governor’s veto caused his death as surely as if the governor had pulled the trigger on the illegal gun the murderer used to kill him. Politicians make or break laws without considering the EFFECT of them on human beings. Mexico's Draconian Immigration Policies

Mexican President Felipe Calderon criticized American immigration policies and specifically the new Arizona law demanding cops actually ENFORCE the federal immigration laws. Maybe Calderon ought to fix his own immigration laws before he criticizes ours. If you enter Mexico illegally, it’s a felony, bringing you two years in prison for the first offense, and TEN years for the second offense, and deportation after serving your sentence is automatic. You aren’t “ordered” out of the country, you’re SENT out of the country while in custody. And he’s criticizing OUR policies? What a jerk! (Fox News)

GOP The Party of "HELL No!"

Obama is still calling the Republicans “the party of no,” as if that were a BAD thing. It’s not. Saying “no” to everything Obama is trying is only common sense, which is something he doesn’t have. We need to say, “HELL no” to everything he does. The Republicans are at least STARTING to “wake up” to the danger this jerk presents and are beginning to fight him—which makes him mad. ANY opposition makes him mad. He’s still trying to demonize Sarah Palin, which just tells me he’s frightened of her. He says Arizona passed their “irresponsible law” because the feds will not pass an “immigration amnesty law.” What a LOAD that is! They passed it because the feds will not enforce EXISTING immigration laws. How much can he TWIST reality? I think he should be IMPEACHED for refusing to enforce the laws he is SWORN to enforce. Joy Behar Criticizes Newt for "Nazi" Reference

“On Monday’s Joy Behar Show, HLN host Behar devoted a segment to chiding former Republican House Speaker New Gingrich’s over the top declaration in his latest book that the "secular-socialist machine represents as great a threat to America as Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union once did," as she charged that Gingrich "throws the word (Nazi) around like its nothing," and asked, "What is he, losing his marbles?" No, he’s NOT “losing his marbles, Joy. YOU are.” It seems like the liberals like Behar want to stop people from using certain words (the same one they use to describe conservatives). Nazi is not the only one. Islamic terrorist or Muslim extremist are two more. Telling us the “secular-socialist machine” now running this country is “throwing the word “Nazi” around like it is nothing shows just how ignorant she is.

Obama’s every move screams Fascism! But she can’t see it, and neither can the other people who don’t pay attention to politics. Obama criticized oil company executives who all pointed fingers at each other when Congress yanked them in to answer questions about the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Obama should be able to recognize “finger-pointing” when he sees it because he’s been DOING it ever since he came on the scene (and probably before), blaming the Bush administration and all Republicans for everything that has gone wrong. He will not take responsibility for ANYTHING. I know, I know, he SAYS he does, but he’s never specific about WHAT he takes responsibility FOR. Meanwhile he continues to blame others for everything. Glenn Beck's "Hate Speech"

Obama regards anything that is said that he doesn’t like to be “hate speech” so when Glenn Beck actually READ Arizona’s immigration law ON THE AIR the other day, he was “engaging in hate speech.” Actually READING that law seems to be a crime, since neither Obama, NOR any of his people have read it before they declared it to be unconstitutional. Of course, if they actually READ it, they couldn’t declare it to be unconstitutional and be honest, because it is not. Maybe, like U. S. Specter Loses

He tried everything to get re-elected, even changing parties—again. It worked the first time he tried it, when he left the Democrats and went to the Republicans. He kept his seat, then. I guess Turner can be forgiven, since he had to live with “Hanoi Jane (Fonda)” for so long and listen to HER silly pronouncements. Remember her? She is the movie star who almost single-handedly stopped nuclear power in this country with one movie, posed in a Korean tank (during the Korean war) and gave a note given her by a prisoner-of-war (during one of her visits to POW camps, ALSO during the war) to the Koreans, resulting in punishment for that soldier. School Cancels Trip to Arizona

An Illinois girl’s basketball team qualified to play an Arizona team and ONE person in the school administration made a decision to cancel the trip because she thought the Arizona immigration law was unconstitutional. Forget the fact those students were paying for the trip themselves. And that that law is NOT unconstitutional. As usual, this officious administrator has NOT read the law, and has gone by the lies told in the media by liberals about it. The canceled trip even made Fox News, and many people have offered to pay for the trip themselves. This team won the conference championship for the first time in 25 years and should not be punished by the ignorant decision of one administrator. "A Duty to Die"

A former Colorado governor once said, “elderly people have a duty to die” to make room for younger people coming up (paraphrased). Not true. The elderly have lived long enough to have seen it all before, and can reliably predict its happening again. They are a “valuable resource” younger people don’t seem smart enough to realize exists in this country. Especially our current politicians, who seem to think they are “the smartest people in the world,” and blame others (never themselves) for their shortcomings. “One of the many fashionable notions that have caught on among some of the intelligentsia is that old people have ‘a duty to die,’ rather than become a burden to others. This is more than just an idea discussed around a seminar table. Already the government-run medical system in Britain is restricting what medications or treatments it will authorize for the elderly. Moreover, it seems almost certain that similar attempts to contain runaway costs will lead to similar policies when American medical care is taken over by the government.” And if you don’t think that will happen here, you aren’t very smart, yourself. People in government think they are “the smartest people in the world.” If older people ARE “a burden” to their programs, they aren’t above denying them medicine they need to stay alive, which condemns them to death. Obama and the other radical socialist liberals now in office hate the idea of us actually drilling for the oil WE own, in areas where we run things. The liberal media is all over this oil spill thing, pushing for us to stop ALL oil drilling in areas we control. People are talking about banning gambling. They bring up many good-sounding statistics to support it, such as “crime increased 400% in one area that allowed gambling. Forgetting that gambling brought a lot more people to an area where previously very few people lived. They falsely attributed the rise in crime to gambling, not the influx of people. But you can’t “just ban” things that are bad for people. People need to be able to make their own decisions about things. They’re adults and nobody has the right to ban ANYTHING for an adult. Banning things just drives it underground and creates a lot of new criminals where they aren’t needed. It also creates another big bureaucracy where THAT is not needed. "Offended" By Christian Symbols

Many atheists want to get rid of EVERY vestige of religion in this country. They want to ELIMINATE Christmas displays of the Virgin Mary and Jesus on government property at Christmas time. They think the Constitution bans religion from anything government. It doesn’t. What it DOES do is keep the GOVERNMENT from dictating religion FOR you. That’s ALL it does. I’m not an atheist. I DO believe in a superior being, an intelligence that orders this universe, and which CREATED it in all its complicated glory. I'd be a FOOL to think otherwise. But my idea of what form this intelligence takes might be a bit different from that of adherents to various religions. But I don’t get “offended” when I see a symbol of somebody’s religion. Obama called out SWAT to “keep order” when the Tea Party came to town. They didn’t find any violence, but they created some when they started pushing around the peaceful Americans who were only there to have what they wanted to say heard. Not that anybody was listening. Obama and his accomplices aren’t interested in what the American people have to say. They’re only interested in shutting them up. Liberals Terrified of "Tea Parties"

Which is why they want to “dismantle them.” If they were not effective, they’d just ignore them and go on their way like they do when they’re opposed by an organization that means nothing to them. But the “Tea Parties” terrify them, so they’re doing everything they can to do away with them so they won’t remove their politicians (and thus their bureaucrats) from power in the next (2010) election. Liberal school authorities sent five boys home for “offending” Mexican (illegal alien) students by having the temerity to wear shirts emblazoned with (gasp!) AMERICAN flags (in AMERICA!) and refusing to turn them inside out on demand. Liberals are the ones who want to ELIMINATE keeping score from sports games so the losers will not “feel bad.” That this would prevent the kids from being prepared for LIFE doesn’t seem to occur to them. Liberals think the way to self defense is to DISARM yourself in the face of danger to “prove to the bad guys you aren’t a threat.” They’re the ones who want to teach kids half the time in Spanish to “cater” to illegal aliens and even LEGAL aliens who refuse to assimilate. Rep. David Obey, powerful Democrat and chairman of the House appropriations Committee, intends to retire at the end of this term. Apparently he doesn’t want to “go away a loser” as he will if he tries to get re-elected after Obama destroyed his chances of being elected even dog catcher in 2010. He knows if he loses an election his job chances later are slim. But if he “retires” while still in office he can get a better-paying job—and he knows he has little or no chance of getting re-elected. I think not. It’s time the Republicans recognized the treasure they’ve got in Sarah Palin instead of fearing that she will stop them from running for president. It's time they quit running all the "old guard" who cannot win, just because it's "his turn." The Democrats have told us in no uncertain terms who THEY think has the best chance of unseating that free-spending con man now holding down that seat by insulting her and claiming she is a “know-nothing” backwoods politician. To have her running on the ticket as “second banana” again is useless. Nobody wants Romney. They want SARAH. If Romney’s even on the ticket it should be in “second place,” with Sarah being able to say what SHE wants to say, not what Romney or any other hack politician wants her to say. She has EARNED the right to run for president in her own right. Make It Retroactive

Obama wants to pass a law lifting the $75 million (Billion? I can't keep track these days) “cap” on how much you can get by suing British Petroleum for damages suffered as a result of their oil leakage into the Gulf of Mexico and making it “RETROACTIVE” to BEFORE the oil spill. Never mind the Constitution PROHIBITS retroactive laws. Obama doesn’t care about that. This government has been making retroactive laws for a long time and NOBODY has done anything about it. He has the armed might to make it stick, so long as nobody with the power to oppose him does anything about his excesses. So he does what he wants, just like any other dictator. (Business Week)

The "Only Non-Partisan Network"

That’s what CNN claims to be, ignoring completely their OBVIOUS bias to the left, while Fox News tells BOTH SIDES. Fox probably has more liberal staffers than any other network out there. What CNN objects to is the fact that they have just as many who AREN’T liberal, and who do a good job of presenting the TRUTH to their viewers, which number a lot MORE than those watching CNN because people are tired of watching and listening to that liberal drivel. This is an OUTRAGEOUS CLAIM and easily disproved. Do they really expect people to believe their obvious lies? Yes, Fox is not "unbiased" in their clearly labeled commentary. Destroying Their Ability

The United States government destroyed their ability to control our borders when they conspired with a Mexican drug smuggler to put two Border Patrol agents in PRISON for doing their jobs. George Bush conspired with them by refusing to give these men a full pardon. They SAY they’ve DOUBLED the size of the Border Patrol since then, but I don’t know how. I hear it has been almost impossible to GIVE AWAY those jobs after the treatment they gave these two men for doing their jobs. As I’m sure what media there was in British America when the original Tea Party was held over a three cent tax on tea. They say Tea Partiers are holding up “offensive signs” and making offensive statements. What they don’t tell you is that those “offensive signs” contain the word “love” and a big heart. When pressed, they cannot give you a better example of an “offensive sign” that was actually AT a Tea Party event. This is common. Liberals cite “offensive” things that do not exist, while DEFINING things as “offensive. They would probably define this item as “offensive,” since it tells the truth about them. (News Busters)

So what? Tea Party people are made up mostly of people who EARN their way and don’t ask (demand) others pay their way while they “laze around” and smoke dope (not ALL of them, but many of them).
